Personally I'm a "Jason looks the most like Catherine" truther. She's not his biological mom but that does Not matter. It just works.

HELLO may i ask for gambit comics recommendations for someone who doesn't know jackshit about x-men or the man himself? i realize i am asking for a lot here so please feel free to postpone or ignore this ask entirely if it's bothersome! no offense will be taken.

for context: i only know of gambit from the marvel shooter game, rivals, which afaik has its own universe and lore. i know tidbits here and there about his relationship with rogue and the x-men generally from a mutual who's obsessed with them. (you may ask why i'm not going to a trusted friend for recs instead but the thing is my attention span is incredibly short and i do not want to give this poor soul hope by asking directly, but i still want to have a decent place to start at hand just in case i have the time and the motivation)

apart from memes and other stuff, i know nothing. fresh canvas. ready for duty.
