64th-century-exile:
It was unusual for speedsters to be in Metropolis, unless there was a charity race with Superman. But Flash proved to be genuine, and his companion wasn’t causing any trouble.
The SCU armor was modular for ease of replacement, mainly protecting the head and torso. Harry quietly submitted to the measurements, and soon they were done.
Of course Wally couldn’t help but make fun smalltalk with the staff, keeping them somewhat entertained while everything was taken care off. At the end of it, everything had gone the way they wanted to and Flash smiled brightly as they were ready to leave.
“Thanks again guys, and don’t forget I’ll come buy next Saturday, promise,” he waved at them amused. Soon after, he turned to Harry. “See, that wasn’t so bad.”
"It was not so bad," Harry nodded. Flash had kept the people occupied, so that Harry didn't need to speak much with them. It was strange: in his native era, he'd craved attention. But now that he had to worry about being mistaken for his counterpart, he was avoiding attention... and working hard to be useful and obedient.
Which is exactly what the System intended for me, Harry thought. And he shuddered a moment at the realization.
"The Watchtower has training facilities, correct?" He'd kept his distance, using the communication links allowed in his residence to do his work for the League.
