as someone who genuinely used to believe the "Euro hated Pelle" propaganda i can honestly sympathize with newer fans of Mayhem who dont know any better of the situation. i mean, when youre a new fan, what other info are you supposed to go off of? obviously youre gonna believe the bandmates who knew the people firsthand before anyone else, since that logically makes the most sense. i just feel bad for the fans who never really find out the truth if at all.

Totally agree. Everyone on god's green earth believed it! There was a time (and lasted surely for a few years) when I even felt glad that Varg killed Euro because I believed in "Euro was hated by everyone" myth. I went up and down with my feelings for him for years. I realized there is something fishy in the whole story but I was unable to find out the truth until I forced myself to research everything. I don't blame new fans, I blame old fans who refuse to listen and change their views. Most of them are males, from my experience. But why?

Btw, my man doesn't like both of them and he is not interested to hear the facts, it's driving me nuts lol
