PRIDE MONTH with the Crows

- The Dregs put on the BEST pride parade in existence

- Nina literally dyes her hair rainbow

- Jesper and the rainbow suspenders

- Every baby gay in Ketterdam knows that they will be safe in Crow Club 

- Rainbow things appear randomly on buildings and trees. No one knows how they got there

- Wylan designs rainbow fireworks and he and Jesper set them off one Friday night

- They kiss sillhouetted by rainbows

- Matthias in drag

- Nina tailors clothing/blankets with every single flag imaginable 

- Crow Club hosts S O M A N Y parties

- Bowls of free condoms are scattered about crow club

- Even some of the wealthier individuals in Ketterdam that normally feared and hated the Dregs joined in the fun.

you know i've always headcanoned jesper and kaz as being best bros with kaz seeing jesper as a kind of younger brother so if you're still doing rare pairs can you do something with that?

- Kaz is always lowkey proud when Jesper manages to get him (even if waking up with all his clothes replaced with brightly colored outfits makes him angry)

- Somewhat pretending not to care but noticing when the other isn’t well and trying to take care of them regardless

- Jesper likes leaving Kaz notes everywhere. Half of them have penises drawn on them.

- Kaz taught Jesper (almost) everything he knows about stealing because you know, life skills

- Kaz ALWAYS knows when something is wrong

- They usually have dumb jokes or puns on them but he knows that they make Kaz smile

- Kaz doesn’t like to encourage gambling so he and Jesper always have movie night (sometimes for the whole crew, sometimes just for them) 

- Jesper loves violent shoot-em-up movies while Kaz is more into horror

- They like arguing that their respective favorite genre is better

- Kaz literally bribed movie execs to make more movies that Jesper likes

- (Jesper will never know this)

- Everyone knows Jesper can take care of himself fine but everyone also knows if someone messes too much with him big brother Kaz is right there

About the Jordie/Nina/Kuwei mini fic I just sent: it’s a wip feel free to add on :) (please...I need ideas)(not an intended slash fic)(just pure crack)

2) Have some headcanons

- Jordie’s really disoriented at first. He barely remembers his name (or suffers from total amnesia)

- They obviously try their best to comfort him and take care of him because they pulled that boy out of the water and he was dead before 

- Nina takes him for waffles, her treat, the minute they reach land

- Turns out Jordie is both similar and completely different from Kaz: they share a deadpan sort of humor but Jordie’s sweet and honest

- Jordie, after recovering, is a fairly good fighter. He’s also smart af 

- he and kuwei get along instantly. It takes Jordie a bit to get used to Nina’s flamboyance but after a few misstarts they get along famously

- Eventually (after Jordie’s gone on a long adventure with Nina and Kuwei) Jordie returns to Ketterdam and Nina introduces him to Kaz

- Kaz is… shocked. He doesn’t deal well with it at first and in typical Kaz fashion runs away from his problems/is a general trainwreck

- At Inej’s convincing, Kaz spends a bit of time with Jordie and is able to admit he’s happy (!) that Jordie came back

- Kaz treats Nina to thank you waffles (with only a litttttle bit of convincing on her part)

When Mathias died Nina desperately wished him back to life, not realizing she was using merzhost. Unfortunately it didn’t work on Mathias but as Kuwei and Nina are rowing to meet the triumvirate Kuwei sees a boy about his age trying to swim to the surface. He uses his fire powers to dry the canal enough for the boy to float and Nina and Kuwei to haul him coughing into the boat and put a blanket around him. Boy thinks theyre Ghezen-sent. Boy looks a lot like Kaz if Kaz was dripping wet and nice.

Kaz/Jesper domestic hcs?

- they both ABSOLUTELY suck at cooking, Jesper is marginally more competent than Kaz but neither really learned 

- They have cats and Jesper likes to feed strays as well. Kaz’s favorites are the black cats no shockers there

- It turns out Kaz is SUPER fuckin cuddly with cats

- Kiss the cook/Leave the cook alone aprons

- They have a little roof garden and their front lawn is covered in various plants 

- Kaz invested in a grand piano partially for the aesthetic tm and partially because he wanted to learn to play. It was a quality investment in Jesper’s opinion 

- Jesper has an ever-growing fun underwear collection and uses it as an excuse to never wear pants in the house

- Kaz actively encourages and supports Jesper learning to use his grisha powers 

- They constantly roast each other...and everyone else 

- Sometimes fancy items such as vases or other expensive things randomly appear in the house. Both claim they have “no idea” where it came from.

- Both are self conscious so there aren’t a whole lot of pictures but there are a few candids of them. Jesper’s favorite is the one of Kaz mid-laugh. Kaz’s is the one of Jesper attempting to climb a tree rescuing one of their cats Nina took.

Inej and Alina hcs?

- cute coffee dates

- ordering for each other on their coffee dates because they do that sort of cute shit

- they argue over who could kick the other’s ass (they both think the other could win in a fight)

- even kaz is intimidated by them 

- Nina was Inej’s wingman because let’s be real that girl needs help with flirting 

- Inej named one of her daggers after Alina. It’s the smallest of all of them but it’s strong. It’s the one she keeps closest to her heart

- sometimes they climb up to the crow’s nest of Inej’s ship and watch the water together

- Little spoon Inej

- Inej likes to surprise Alina with flowers sometimes 

- Sometimes they share stories of their previous adventures with each other and jokingly try to outdo each other

- Not a very obvious couple in public, sometimes they’ll share a glance or link pinkies but they very rarely PDA

- they’re the couple that’ll spar together and go harder than anyone else

- They aren’t the most talkative of couples but they’re both incredibly supportive of one another and will always listen if the other needs anything and at least attempt to comfort them. While they don’t always verbally talk they communicate in their own way.

- Jesper is a literally puppy, he’s always following Kaz around and trying to get his attention 

- Kaz was Jesper’s first true gay crush, sure there were cute guys at university but Jesper spent his time either drunk, gambling, or trying to find more money to gamble.

- Kaz of course is completely oblivious for a while, wondering why Jesper wanted to be his damn friend or something 

- Jesper does everything in his power to try and figure out Kaz’s sexuality, needless to say he is unsuccessful in gathering any evidence.

- Jesper initially agrees to work for Kaz because the heists are more exciting than robbing random rich tourists, the pay is better than the other jobs he’s done before, and he gets to spend more time with Kaz 

- Kaz is the only person Jesper’s puppy dog eyes don’t work on

- Kaz was the first person Jesper came out to. Jesper had never been more nervous in his life but Kaz was accepting enough

- Kaz slowly got closer to Jesper as he trusted him more but despite Jesper’s best efforts he would never flirt back.

- The skinny white boy in the fancy suits was the cutest thing Jesper had ever seen. Sometimes he would sneak glances while pretending to be casually drinking in the crow club.

- Jesper would always get butterflies looking at Kaz and seemingly everyone could see it. 

- Jesper never got the courage to admit his feelings to Kaz (he had a hell of a death glare) and he didn’t know how he would react 

- Jesper would sometimes compliment Kaz on little things and Kaz would always look confused

- As they did more heists together Kaz began to warm up to Jesper and would talk to him more and sometimes drink with him. He never ran out of insults though. They even has a few inside jokes. Jesper even made Kaz laugh a few times.

- Jesper never figured out whether or not Kaz had figured out his little crush but his hopes were crushed when Kaz made an offhand comment about Jesper being one of the few people he trusts and considers a friend. 

- Jesper didn’t really no how to handle it but he sorta just let it go

- Mutual pining they are both awkward little shits that do NOT know how to flirt

- Matthias would teach Kaz small cute phrases in Fjerdian and subsequently laugh at his inability to pronounce anything right

- Very protective of one another 

- Matthias is actually really gentle with Kaz and vice versa. This comes as a surprise to literally everyone.

- They both SUCK at cooking like good GOD Kaz knows barely enough to survive and Matthias is very good at burning things. They often go to Nina to help otherwise they would burn their fucking house down.

- It turns out Matthias can pout very well. This is how they ended up adopting a dog (with a LOT of pleading from Matthias)

- Matthias is secretly a bottom

- it took them 6 months of dating to even consider holding hands in front of other ppl. 

- Kaz likes to leave small gifts for Matthias sometimes. Matthias isn’t sure if they were obtained legally or not.

- Matthias is actually the best big spoon 

- Nina and Jesper helped Kaz make Matthias a flower crown once. 

- Matching suits

- They both suck at flirting and are constantly asking Nina for advice on what to say to one another. She knew they liked each other before they knew

Kaz x Nina dating headcanons?

- Surprisingly a very quiet couple, they read one another’s body language very well and can always tell each other’s emotions.

- Nina would make Kaz’s heart skip a beat. He blamed it on her powers but everyone knew otherwise.

- They have drinking contests. Kaz can hold his liquor surprisingly well for such a small, skinny boy but Nina always wins hands down

- Nina tailored a custom suit for Kaz on their anniversary and Kaz got her a gold and ruby pendant shaped like a heart

- Little spoon Kaz

- Kaz is actually the sweetest he attempted to learn to make waffles for Nina on her birthday. They turned out...interesting to say the least. He always seems to know when she’s sad and mysteriously always has a stash of sweets, flowers, and very awkward compliments on hand.

- Nina knows how to make Kaz Brekker blush on command.

- Kaz confessed first when they were out on the docks at like 3AM when neither of them could sleep. They go there when one of them has a nightmare because it calms them down.

- Even though they both know the other is perfectly capable of handling themselves they’re both very protective. No one cat calls Nina anymore because Kaz will find out.
