I exchanged hearts with Paul Dano through his car window after the screening of The Wizard of the Kremlin in Venice. I'll never recover.

For those interested... he came out of the screening with Alicia, Tom and Jude. Jude went directly in the car, Paul and the other stopped for autos. We weren't many in the area but he was basically surrounded. I don't know how I did it, because I was in front of Alicia, but when I saw him, I moved like a ninja to reach him, and I managed even if I'm a short woman to get my notebook signed. After some signing he went in the car. I didn't see which car it was but some moments later I saw a woman in front of a car window trying to get someone's attention but without success. The car windows were dark so it wasn't immediate to understand which person was behind it. After the woman left I asked to another one which actor was in that car and they told me Paul. I went in front of the car window (leaving some space) and then waited Paul to look my way and when he did I think I waved (I was emotional so I don't remember exactly how the interaction started) and I made the heart this way 🫶🏻

His first reaction was something like this emoji 🤗 I swear he had the biggest smile, I think he even opened his mouth so a big smile. Imagine someone saying "Surprise"! That level of happy. I think I replied again with a heart but I wasn't able to do it well because I had a notebook with me (the autos one). He replied with 🫶🏻 so I replied him with 👌🏻 (like "you understood what I meant!!"). And then the most beautiful thing happened, he also sent me the heart the Korean way 🫰🏻 I WAS IN SHOCK. I replied the same way (I was a bit shaking I think) and then I ran away jumping up and down 😂😭🥹😭😶‍🌫️

During the standing ovation in Sala Grande I was pretty near and I already sent him 🫶🏻 when he was watching me (he was often scanning the crowd) but of course he didn't reply. I don't know if I'm fooling myself but maybe he was so nice because he saw me also before (he must have seen me I was really close).

He was just sooooo sweet! Like I imagined he would be 😭💖🫶🏻🫰🏻
