Pics from the end-of-year show in March! The show went spectacularly and I'm so thankful to everyone that made it. I know it's a (very) late post but idgaf lol

My worm, bug, and dragging made it out alive! No one was harmed, thank god. I recall someone calling them "weird sex aliens" tho which, to be fair, they most certainly are. Get ready for more Sex Aliens!!!

Hopefully the ones I make in the future have less .... Character Actor energy. If that makes sense.

Lampcat I made at Penland! Mad thanks to UALR for "scholarshipping" me to my first ever trip to Penland. Wonderful experience for sure. Made lots of friends and learned lots. Took the woodworking class taught by Sylvie Rosenthal. Legendary craftsperson and excellent teacher. Made a couple spoons and carved some pencils as well. I'll have to share those later!

Pieces are still unattached given that I sent them home in a friend's car (ily Sarah!!!) but I'll be glueing them together properly soon

New drawing! Went to the beach w the family recently and slammed this bad girl out 4+ beers deep lol. It's just graphite with some ink on top for contrast. I had come across some interesting AI vids that morning on insta. They were all about humanity giving in completely and being corrupted by technology about 100000 years in the future. Kind of an ironic concept given the medium.

Anyways this is my own design and drawing done 100% without AI. Didn't copy a thing just my brain cooking. You can tell bc the perspective is off lmao

Sneaky peeky at some latex pieces that have been attached to my worm and my dragon/gator head. They are decapitated after all... The dirt mound they're on has them sitting so pretty I can't wait for the opening at the gallery!!!

Little portrait of my 18 yo kitty for a jewelry class I'm taking. It's all brass and copper with handmade rivets! God bless her she's old and confused so that's why the bail is a question mark! And yes, her tail is fully posable

So we've redone the math for her age and she's actually turning 20 this year! Go grandma!

This is my first foray into hollow forms in jewelry! When I made this ring, I thought of my sister and how we are so connected in spirit, especially these days. She loves to cook, especially when lots of garlic is involved, so this is for her. It is meant to be worn with the bulb sitting on the tops of the fingers and the leaves floating above the rest of the fingers. It is almost exactly scaled to a real garlic, just a bit smaller.

Was also thinking of painting it Black and doing a subtle iridescent mica shimmer? Idk how that's gonna work w the latex schnoz I've made for him tho. Much to consider
