@7djn
Welcome everyone,
This is my one-week-attempt to explore the effects of places on sound performances. Over the courses of the next 7 days, I will perform with my dear guitar at different locations, which range from familiar places where I spend a lot of time at such as library and dorm room to hiking rails, where I probably end up only once a year.
The purpose of this exploration is my internal understanding about performing. As I have played guitar for more than 10 years, the instrument have witnessed my many events and emotions. Yet I never come to fully understand how does space and people affect my feeling and music. As the scope of question is tremendous, it would be realistic acknowledge several limitations. For instance, in order to have candid feeling, I sometimes have to compromise the recording quality. To me, veritas - latin word for the truth, is the utmost importance. In the quest of preserving the truth, arts have no boundaries and limitless power. The time limit also doesn't allow me to do much with materials. I tried my best to capture the quintessential part of all the performances but they certainly are potential for further development and interpretation.
Without further ado, today's entry is a recording in my bed room where I can be true to my deepest feeling.
