What's up fellow obscure media nerds. Got some cool stuff I wanna show you related to CyberKIDZ.
So Ive been doing some deep dives into CyberKIDZ to see what I can find and Ive dug some neato things. Specifically behind the scenes stuff.
So we'll start with probably one of the bigger thing. I'm pretty sure the budget of CyberKIDZ was 2 millionish. My source is an Russian comment on the social media site vk.com. Specifically linking to CineSpecialProductions website (owned by George B Kelly Line Producer of CyberKIDZ). I was able to get in contact with George +10 weeks ago and he provided an email address but has never gotten back to me (please dont pester him I've reached out via the same communication method to see if he got the email and he hasn't responded). Ill update if he did.
So let's move onto something more upbeat, I'm pretty sure most people who worked on this show had fun. Ive found an old interview with Heinrich James (Zorak) while he was filming the Star Trek movie and he mentioned playing Zorak:
"Though he had the most fun as ruler of Cyberland in the as-yet-unreleased TV show
"Cyberkidz." "I played the wizard Zorak, a centuries-old evil overlord of a world in another
dimension," says Heinrich, who chewed the scenery as the Richard Burton/Patrick Stewart-esque voiced villain."
Another dude who had fun with CyberKIDZ was David Riggs the prop master for CyberKIDZ, this is a dude who I had high hopes of hunting down to ask because Id love to know what the CyberKIDZ visors were made of but he has been elusive. However on his old website (via waybackmachine) I found out that he too loved to work on CyberKIDZ (pictures). Specifically because the props he got to make were so different than standard movies/shows that it allowed him to go weird with it.
Lastly I'll leave you with another thing I found. Roger C Ambrose worked as a set/stage designer, if you lived through the 90s you likely saw one of his sets. I found out that before his passing he uploaded his portfolio and came across never before shared set photos of CyberKIDZ and its legit my favorite discovery.
They took me and hooked me up to a machine and took all my blood out and replaced it with horse blood

Really not good how ralsei keeps misgendering kris even though susie tells him to knock it off. And honestly the shit he has to say about uteruses really has no place in a game like delta rune
