Drop Off At Daycare Mod 💗
💗 I made this because of a request to make a daycare system similar to my drop off mod. Parents and any Sim Teen+ can actually drive their kids to daycare, physically drop them off at a school rabbithole, and pick them up later instead of relying on the "hire babysitter" popup.
💗 You choose the daycare type (from the 3 available), enroll each child individually, drive them there, and receive detailed report cards when you pick them up.
💗 I was able to test the babies (infants) fully, and they are able to be dropped off as well!
💗 How To Use The Mod
💗 Step 1: Sign Up For Daycare
Click your Sim’s smartphone or home phone and choose “Daycare…”
💗 Pay the one-time household signup fee of §350 💗 Choose a daycare type for each eligible child (Baby, Toddler, or Child)
Daycare options:
💗 Lil’ Kingdom Daycare — §60 per day Cozy, play-first, imagination focused
💗 Care A Lot Childcare — §90 per day Balanced routines, social growth, steady energy, and your children make friends!
💗 Discovery Point Preschool — §150 per day Structured, learning-focused, slightly stricter tone and your children learn skills!
Each child can be enrolled separately and can attend different daycare types if you want.
💗 Step 2: Drop Off Kids
Click a real Car (in the world or from inventory) Choose “Drop Off At Daycare” Select the enrolled kids you want to take
💗 Drop-off hours are between 5am and 8pm 💗 The daily daycare cost is charged at drop-off 💗 Your Sim drives to the correct non-resort school rabbithole
When you arrive:
💗 Children enter the school rabbithole and remain there with an “In Daycare” interaction 💗 Toddlers and babies are removed from the world once arriving at daycare, and added back safely when they are picked up.
💗 Step 3: Pick Up Kids
Click a Car and choose “Pick Up From Daycare” Your Sim drives back to the same school rabbithole
💗 After a short wait (about 10 sim minutes), each child is restored safely 💗 You receive one daycare report popup per child
Late pickup:
💗 Kids may remain after 8pm until picked up 💗 Late fee is §250 per hour per child after 8pm 💗 Hours are rounded up 💗 Late pickups may affect report card tone
💗 Toddler & Baby Handling Toddlers and babies are seated before driving, locked during routing, and fully hibernated while in daycare. This way we cannot trigger babysitter logic.
💗 Individual Daycare Report Cards
Each child gets their own popup including:
💗 Daily summary 💗 Social notes (if they made any friends) 💗 Development notes 💗 Care notes 💗 Milestones 💗 Behavior notes 💗 Teacher comment
Report tone depends on daycare type and pickup time.
