Happy Monday 7th Risers. This afternoon, we shall leave you with a thought, something to ponder over...when you get fired up about something close to your heart, there's nothing in the world that can stop you. So the real question is how do we fire ourselves up more?!
Afternoon all, hope you’ve had a lovely weekend so far. Today we’ll be in the Sunday Times (judging by the photo, Thom is VERY happy about this)! Be sure to take a look but if you forget, don’t worry, you can read some of what the lovely Alessia had to say about us and the video she recorded here! Right now! Enjoy and have a wonderful 7th Rise – we’re hoping that tomorrow we’ll hit 1,000 followers on Facebook and we’ll be inviting one of you down to the cottage for a wonderful weekends adventure! Keep liking and sharing and thank you for being awesome x

If we can't buy Cornish, we buy British and if we can't buy British we don't buy at all. That's the 7th Rise way, shop locally and seasonally to support your community. X
Happy Friday!! Another beautiful sunny day too. Here is Thom off fishing on the River Fal and in case you forgot, it’s FACT FRIDAY! I can feel your excitement about that. So, a fact about fishing seems appropriate… There are more than 27,000 living species of fish worldwide. That’s more than all types of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds combined. Hopefully that means Thom will catch a few this weekend ;-) x
Spreading a little love and 7th Rise positivity. Wherever you are right now, stop, look up and think about all the awesome things life has to offer. Yes it can be hard at times but its those hard times that make us stronger and even more awesome!
This should be concerning a lot more people than it is
not only because bees are one of the most important animals in the world and their job is a lot more than gathering honey but also because they are what scientists refer to as an “indicator species"
This means that when their populations start dwindling and then rapidly dropping, humans need to watch out because that means that environmental factors are too difficult for THEM to live in, so it might be difficult for US to live in, too. bees basically act as an indication that humans have a lot to worry about and when they start dying like this it deserves a lot more than a few headlines.

Let’s make sure we are all looking after the bees on this planet!
Morning everyone! It is FACT FRIDAY and the sun has well and truly got its hat on… Hope you have had an amazing week and are looking forward to the weekend :-)!
Pictured above are 7th Rise’s resident swans, Boris and Doris. Thom is lucky enough to have breakfast with the pair most mornings, so our fact today has to be about swans!
The most popular swan in Britain is the mute swan but they are hardly ‘mute’ at all! They are known as the noisiest type of swan!
Did you also know that they mate for life? Wonder how long Boris and Doris have been together...
Afternoon! Hope you’re all having a wonderful Wednesday and to make it even more wonderful, check this out…
Our friends over at Canopy and Stars have just launched a competition to win a three or four night stay at the Tree of Life Horse Box in St Agnes for two AND a day course for two at 7th Rise, head over here to find out more and enter… https://www.facebook.com/canopyandstars/app_392479204151241
A message to you all from Suzie, our herb garden expert on this fine Monday afternoon - "Do something today to make someone else smile, it's totally worth it." Suzie picked this gorgeous bunch of wild flowers for her Mum who wasn't able to walk with her. Have you made someone smile today? X
