Sometimes I have a moment where five uncanny versions of people I know will pass me by
From Sweden in the spring ❣️
Petals on the Pavement - Viorel Marginean, 1968
Bf’s naturopath mom coming to visit… excited to see what crystals and dietary tips she has to share.
I have to start wearing orthopedic shoes…. Running around in ballerina flats every day gave me plantar fasciitis. My arches are too high apparently. Seeing it as an excuse for a new shoe wardrobe.
Warm thunderstorm, on the couch, work from home, finish a knit for my mom, drink coffee, make quiche, clean the fridge
Recently struggling with shared living. I think you have to share a life vision and as horrible as it sounds a shared “lifestyle”. Balancing conscious-of-details, fresh flowers every week, daily evening walk and farmers market produce with trader joes sandwich slop, living in books, surface-level-clean-is-fine, boy-time is difficult!! Sometimes I feel like my relationship is maybe a bit too platonic because of how different we are and how often I play out like all gender roles ( which not to sound tooooo trad but…) and also maybe expectations of what parts of each other to embrace aren’t clear. Sometimes I am trying to wind down and thats maybe not the time to start talking abt the political philosophy colloquium with the expectation of an engaged audience or like time to put on 1Story Pod ironically…. Anyways my rant is over and maybe my advice to people out there is dating humanities grad students can be one of the most difficult trials out there.
This summer I wanna catch a big trout.
Excited to see what she can do. Both my first loom and the woman I bought it from’s first loom. She said a friend just let her have it one day after she borrowed it for a project. Hand built by a mysterious man who made cherry wood looms in Upstate NY from 1977-1981.
Making my bf and our friend drive me to the north suburbs during rush hour to pick up a loom <3
Getting my MLIS on Sunday <3
