it was probably strange to see a man in full armor, with a red mask that looked from a whole another era... in a library. he always liked reading, always liking learning and understanding humanity.
perhaps he was taking too long in choosing something to read, but as he looked around, he spotted a book, or rather, a young man holding said book. “Excuse me.” he spoke, voice naturally strong. “What is that book?”

“Is this city... Always this noisy?” a inquiry perhaps too light, too frail to even hold itself. but it was aimed at the man near him, appearance of not, he hoped they could tell how busy the streets seemed to be. even so, he is used to noisy places, war was anything but quiet and peaceful.
a line of thought he decided not to continue, not now. instead, he spoke. “I’ve never been in a proper city before, so I wouldn’t know.”

“Excuse me.” a tame voice spoke out from his mask, not matching to how threatening the mask may seem at first glance, not even his clothes were the most conventional either.
he wanted to ask if she was a human. Mere curiosity, since she seemed much different to his definition of human. but instead he asked something that was actually polite to ask. “I believe I’m... Lost. Yes. Is there a map of some sorts around here?”

he noticed immediately that something was amiss, his face revealed in the room --- a uncomfortable feeling, the mask being something he grew attached to. quickly putting it back on, he listened intently, a difficult thing for him to do, in the situation he slowly realized he was in.
peering down the heavens, checking on the humans to see what was happening, always with a look of kindness, yet with slight protection. he never played god, yet he was one, the sworn protector. yet now he was being peered upon, was it with eyes of kindness or something else? something darker ? he didn’t know. uncertainty always made him somewhat distressed.
“Hm.” being powerless felt very strange. he felt disconnected from his people, yet he was practically one of them now. a pang of anxiety sparked within him at the line of thought. he wasn’t too pleased at the idea of becoming too attached to humans when he was the god of war.
picking up the toy bow, he wondered if it could make it work, but anything was helpful. he needed to find his residence, maybe rest up and come in terms to what was happening,
