also while im here, the end of ep 4 contains a youtube link (9yjaf_5_3RA) that lead to an unlisted video, and the captions in that video (/a/9g7Vazu) lead to an imgur file, and in that image there's hidden text (1VkRt-GEJLQ-6YQqbypvMqt2zzrxdEdy4VLllzcoxn0E) that you can only spot if you go into a photo editor and crank up the saturation and contrast, and that leads to a google document. that has a bug report in it

hell yes. ive been obsessed with this arg for a hot minute now

i literally just posted a comment about this on the video but an interesting thing in episode 3 is that at 6:21, cain finds this weird glowing section of the mineshaft and zooms in on it for a second before immediately turning around and leaving. (https://imgur.com/a/zPsQTd8 for frame-by-frames just to save people the trouble)

directly after this timelapse, cain states that they're really jumpy now- i was confused by that on first watch-through, but spotting whatever this is is probably what freaked them out so bad the first time

(or maybe im overthinking this- its possible that this instant is also when the whole "infinite mineshaft tunnel no audio" unlisted video happened, and that's what got cain on edge? i feel like it would make more sense for that scene to have occurred in the timelapse where the link to it got dropped, though, which is a minute or two after this part of the video)

(either way, weird shit!!!)
