ince everyone's talking about the raps in Kodocha, I just want to point out that in this one specific rap in Japanese, they didn't even try to match the dialogue with the mouth movements.
However, I do know the animation process in anime is done before voice recording, so I'll give it a pass.
Last Action Hero (1993)
Last Action Hero was a financial and critical flop when it came out back in 1993, and you can thank Jurassic Park for that.
But to be honest, the film was never bad. Audiences back then were just not ready for meta humor.
Had the film come out 20 or 30 years later, it would've been a finanical and critical success, since we now have films like Deadpool and Free Guy.
But Arnold Schwarzenegger is old now, so in this current period, the film wouldn't have him in it.

Additionally, voice actors ARE still being hired by talent instead of by race today. So my post was in bad taste.

Say what you want about Tiffany voicing Judy in Jetsons: The Movie, but at least the other members of the Jetsons family weren't voiced by A-list celebrities.
Had the film come out in the modern era, that would 100% be the case. They would likely cast Will Ferrell as George and maybe Tom Holland as Elroy.
