Here are your prompts for this year:

Day 1: Soulmate AU, if you've heard of it you can write it, or even make up your own soulmate trope.

Day 2: Famous AU, model? Actor? Writer? Photographer? Musician? Politician? Royalty? Make your characters as in want of fame as you like, or maybe wanting less fame.

Day 3: Different Setting, do they now work in a coffee shop? A different time? A different place? They need to be out of the firehouse(s) and somewhere else.

Day 4: Supernatural, Fantasy, Magic AU, witches, werewolves and vampires, oh my? Put a stake in this one because it's gonna get EXCITING.

Buck needs to lie, and he fucking hates it. He hates lying, and he hates lying to Eddie. But he doesn’t have a choice—not when he knows he can’t tell him the truth. Not now. Not ever. Because if there’s one person who will never believe that magic is real, it’s Edmundo fucking Diaz. So. Of course, Eddie’s the one who ends up cursed.

A Magicians AU (sort of) was my idea for Day 4 of @911auweekend for the prompt Magic AU because... well, I do love the Magicians. The last two chapters of the fic are written, I just need to finish editing them.

But the reporters weren’t the only ones who thought so. The whole shift shared guilty looks, including Hen and Bobby. And Buck… Buck had to admit it explained things.

I wrote this for day 3 of @911auweekend for the prompt Different Setting AU (Baxter Building/New York City in this case; Buck, Maddie, Chimney, and Kevin are full time Fantastic Four). It was completely inspired by this really cool artwork I saw a couple of months ago by @mustasekittens and I couldn't get the idea out of my head.

He looks up at the kite again when he feels it — an odd pull in his chest. He rubs slow circles over that spot with the base of his palm, suddenly aware of what this means. This isn’t just any kite. (Or, five times Buck and Eddie see their soulmate sign — a kite — on their own, and one time they see it together and realise the truth.)

I rewatched Les Choristes and got their song Cerf volant stuck in my head, which meant I naturally wanted to write a fic with the same vibe. I ended up writing this for day 1 of @911auweekend for the prompt Soulmate AU. It's fully written; the rest of the chapters will go up as soon as I'm done doing the final spellchecks.
