I do not give permission for my graphics of OG 911 screen time to be posted to any other social media site. I do not have any other social media accounts besides this one, so any appearance of my work on any other social media site will have happened without my consent.
If you would like to discuss my work on other platforms, I would be thrilled for you to link my blog, but DO NOT repost my graphics in any way, shape, or form.
Reposting my graphics, which are my creative property, removes context from them, and allows for unnecessary, and incorrect hostility.
Any reposting of my graphics, even if you add a link for the source, or if you don’t erase my watermark, will be considered an act of theft.
This blog and project are run by @liesoverthec
Due to several reasons, I decided to re-post all of the screen time here and reorganize it.
As such, you might see versions of the old posts from my personal blog, with a watermark saying they should not be re-posted. Obviously I am doing so now, but I am not stealing them from myself. I am the owner with a new blog. My personal blog is dead now, so please don’t send any messages there regarding screen time if you want a chance of them being answered.
All episode graphics are on the same scale as one another now, so that they can be directly compared to see exactly how much time one episode was vs another. The mid-season totals are all on the same scale as each other, the season totals are on the same scale as each other, the regulars’ totals are on the same scale, and their averages as well. The five types of graphics are on different scales from one another, but within the five types of graphics, all graphics are on the same scale and can be directly compared.

I know you haven't had the best experience on here, and you decreased activity on your main and like, mental health is obv a billion times more important than fandom. With the show coming back, I was just wondering if you're still in the fandom/doing screen time? I hope this doesn't come across as rude I'm just curious. xxx
Hi Sam!
I'm going to be really honest - my experience in the fandom had heavily become more of a burden than a blessing in the last couple of months, and I genuinely intended to just let screen time go, bc as much joy and good people as it brought me, I wanted to keep watching the show more.
HOWEVER -
I watched this week's episode and just couldn't let it go. I have to know who was the lead, and I desperately want to make my graphics and everything, so here I am! Screen time won't be out for a few days bc I don't know what my schedule is going to look like this week, but it will definitely be out before Monday.
So thank you for your concern - you've always been one of the kindest, most supportive people I've met as result of screentime, and you could never be rude!
This should be covered in this ask. If that doesn’t answer your exact question, please feel free to ask for more clarification! However, please be specific about what you want to know or I’ll just redirect you back here.
When two characters have the same amount of time in an episode graphic, how do you decide who goes first?
I don’t decide! The secret is that the characters don’t actually have the same time - I round their times to the nearest 15s for neatness purposes, but I still know and have their exact times. The graphic is ordered in terms of largest exact time on the left, moving to smallest on the right - so even if two characters look like they had the same time, one of them had slightly more than the other!
Who do I take time for?
The main 7 characters, and the regulars.
Who are the regulars?
As of the start of season 6 - Karen, May, Harry, Josh, Christopher, Albert, Ravi and Lucy. I’ve chosen these characters as regulars for the reasons contained in this ask here. Michael and Dr David were previously considered regulars.
Why does the screen time not add up to 40-something minutes?
Think about it - are the 118 + Athena + Maddie on screen every single minute of every episode? No! Some of that time is devoted to the setup of the emergencies, some goes to the regulars, and some goes to reoccurring characters.
When do I post screen time?
Sometime before the next episode airs. I don’t have a specific day that I can collect the data, as my day-to-day hours at work vary, so I never know when I can get the information to make the graphics to post. If you would like me to tag you so that you see it for sure, please send me a message or an ask.
Why do you only post the times for the main characters every week and not the regulars too?
A couple of reasons - 1. It keeps a bit of mystery for when it comes time to post their totals at the end of the season. And 2. For a typical episode, we are lucky to have four regulars included. For s5, we had 10 that I was taking time for. So if I were to post their time every week, it would be an INCREDIBLY boring graphic, since there would only be one or two bars on it every week. And I don’t put whatever regulars do get time on the mains graphic bc any more than 8 bars starts to get a little crowded and the main (haha) point of this project is just to look at the 7 main characters and how they stack up. As stated more in depth below, I’m happy to tell you what time any regular got in any episode, I’m just not going to post it, you have to ask for it!
How much did (insert character name here) get in episode #x## or in season #?
If the character you are referring to is one of the regulars listed above, then I have that information and I am happy to share it! If the character is not, then I do not have that information on hand - and as such it is completely up to my discretion whether or not I get that information for you. Taking screen time just for the characters listed above and making the graphic takes up 4 to 5 hours of my week already, so my decision to get (or not get) time for a character I don’t normally will be up to a variety of factors - from my personal feelings on the character to my very impersonal but demanding work schedule (however it will never be due to my personal feelings on YOU - the point of this blog is to treat everyone equally regardless of my own personal feelings on you as a person).
Please feel free to ask for the time, but know that there is a good chance I will not get it for you.
Will you be posting overall series data?
No. I did that when I posted data on my personal blog, and I’m just not interested in discussing or hearing people’s opinions on the series data. I’ll keep posting overall season data, but that’s the extend of the data I’m going to be lumping together. Not to mention we’re at the point in the series where things are kind of stuck, bc the more data you put into an average calculation, the less each individual satay point affects the average, where no matter what the actual episodes look like. Where the screen time was in past episodes is the past. I’m much more interested to see where they focusing screen time NOW, so that’s what you’re getting from me!
Please, please, please feel free to ask questions about the screen time! (Besides the ones listed above lol!) I won’t give my personal opinions on how things shake out and if they’re good or bad, but I’m very happy to give you analysis answers!

hi! i love your blog!! if you've been tracking it, can you share what taylor's (total and on average) screentime was for s5? she was in so many episodes that i got curious.
Hi anon -
I have not been tracking it. I never considered her a regular (definition of what criteria I use for that here - and as the finale proved, I was right not to) and so as such I didn't take her time every week.
I did take her time for the first 5 episodes + 5x13, and just from that I can tell you she got more than Christopher or Albert got for the entire season. Beyond that?? No empirical data.
And unfortunately for your curiosity, I will not be getting the rest of her time anytime soon, probably never. Reasons why not ranging from my own personal feelings about her, all the way to the very impersonal fact that I'm working over 70hrs a week right now and I just do not have time.
Screen time is unfortunately only a labor of love and not my full time job like I sometimes wish it was and I just do not have love/effort to spare right now for a character who is not coming back 🙈
Can you tell us anything about bathena for up coming season?
Hi anon -
I can't. My part only comes after the episode has aired, at which point you know as much as I do.
@911bts is the one who keeps track of what's coming up, but since they haven't started filming s6 yet (we've barely been officially renewed) so I'm not sure anyone will know anything about Bathena in the upcoming season.
Based on the ending couple of scenes and also the last bit of this article here, I’m adding Lucy to the regulars list - esp since next season we will be losing Michael and David.
As such, you can expect to see her on the graphic for s5 - and even if the article is getting ahead of itself and Arielle doesn’t end up coming back, she was big enough this season that it makes sense for her to be on there.

PSA - if during the episode next week it becomes clear that Lucy is sticking around, or if we get an article saying Arielle Kebbel has been added to the regular cast, I will be adding Lucy to the regulars list.
Hi, can you estimate how much screentime Ravi or Lucy usually have? I don’t know if this is something you can have a guess on. But if you can, would it be around the same time Maddie mostly gets?
Hi Anon!
I can actually tell you exactly the amount of screentime Ravi gets, since he is a regular and as such I take his time every week. Currently, if he is in an episode, he gets ~1:00.
If I had to guessimate Lucy’s time, I would put it around 1:30 to 2:00 (and let’s make it VERY CLEAR this is an estimate. I have not taken any time for her yet so as such I have no data to make this an informed answer - I’m merely going off my instincts). The reason that I would put her there is that that is around the amount of time a member of the 118 will get when they are not the focus of an episode, and given that while Lucy has had some big moments, they’re usually tied into someone else’s story (aka Buck, etc) so she’s probably not quite in the range of a main. That would be in the reasonable range for a regular, however.
Overall, Ravi does not come close to Maddie, not this season or overall. As of right now, Maddie has ~3:30 average for the entire series, including all the eps she’s missed this season, and a ~2:00 average for just this season. If we look at JUST the episodes she’s been in this season, she has an average of ~3:45 for s5.
As such, Lucy would probably either be tied with Maddie in terms of average, or far below her, depending on which stat you pick (I’d go with the second [3:45] - not bc it makes the show look better but bc Lucy’s average would count only the episodes she’s been in, not everything she missed, so it’s probably more fair to do the same for Maddie).
In addition, Ravi currently has around half the total amount of time Maddie has, despite being in a little less than double the amount of episodes she has this season. And if I had to guess, I’d say Lucy currently has a bit less than Ravi in total, even with her probably higher-than-his average, due to the fact that she’s been in 5 eps vs his 14.
So all in all, I’d say neither compares to Maddie, even with her being absent for so long. Ravi 100% factually does not compare, and I’d guess Lucy follows suit.
Please let me know if I didn’t answer your question or if there is anything else I can answer!
hi! do you know how much screen time may got this episode?
Post rounding, May had 7:30 in 5x16!
If she were to go on a graphic, it would look similar to this one, with her in Chimney’s spot, and all the mains bumped down one - just to give you an example of how that amount scales compared to what everyone else had.
