the nerves and the accumulated fatigue seem to be showing on maja’s side now : whatever happens, this is still the run of her life. and credit where it’s due — mirra has been playing exceptionally well ever since 3-2 in the first set. she’s raised her level at exactly the right moment and hasn’t really let maja settle since.
