Favorite Places in Slime Rancher
I've played over 2000 hours of Slime Rancher 1 since it's release and many hours of 2. Here are my favorite places in both games. (Spoilers for late game)
#1 The Glass Desert
This is my favorite place from either game hands down. It's beautiful, it's striking, it's mysterious. This is when I fell in love with slime rancher. The story culminating at the end of a long walk through the desert and being so sweet and heart warming. I really thought there was a way to activate a portal to a bigger and more exciting adventure! But Hobson had other plans. The oases are so full of life and I loved the challenge of activating them.

#2 The Grey Labyrinth
Slime Rancher games do late game areas so well! The Grey Labyrinth is breathtaking. Each section as you progress through is more beautiful than the last. Slime Rancher really inspired my love for huge mammoth buildings and structures. This area isn't even done yet. I am so excited for the Prisma Core Update to release (tho it will probably be a few months lol. Many many months). The Labyrinth is hard to navigate at first but I'm getting the hang of it. There's so many places to explore!
#3 The Moss Blanket
This was a close battle with Starlight Strand. I think nostalgia won out in the end. This is a lush biome filled with honey, boom, and hunter slimes. It was the first new biome I unlocked in the first game and I spent days exploring it. All of my apiary machines are here and it's such a cozy place to be <3
Honorable Mention: Starlight Strand
I mean... have you seen it? When I first began the game I stopped and stared in awe at the beautiful blurry rainbow coming from starlight strand for minutes. Far away, from a distance, it is gorgeous. Especially at night. I love the little beach areas!
