Ruth saw Pearlโs soujourns into town as potential risks to the family's health & in general treated Pearl like a lapdog, forcing her to feed & give baths to her father.โฃ โฃ Pearl showed signs of psychopathology from a young age when she shamelessly killed a duck, for being annoying, with her [weapon of choice] pitchfork. Taking the duck to the end of the jetty, she fed it to Theda, a giant alligator patrolling the waters of the local lake. Theda later featured in 'X,' too.โฃ โฃ ๐ฑ Lusting for a glamorous life like what she'd seen in the movies, Pearlโs ambitions & obsessions become a dangerous focus for someone so unstable. Lacking support & friendship, not to mention the companionship of the only man who truly understood her, Pearlโs descent into madness starts off slowly but gains momentum at an alarming speed. ๐ฑ โฃ Thanks to @madmanfilms; 'Pearl,' rated ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฑ+, opened in ๐ฆ๐บ cinemas on March 16, 2023. ยฉ๏ธ (at X-Movie) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp9do7VPi88/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
