Oh, and I forgot to tell you—actually I just got the news right now when I opened my email—but that summer internship I applied for in Paris, well I made it to the second round of interviews!
Knew you could do it, Daisy. It'll be great if you get it. Well, I mean...I'm sure you'll get it and yeah. We could spend the summer in Paris together and I could teach you more French. You'll be Parisian before you know it.

A step out of here is a step into France, Jane. And the people I'm leaving behind here are the only friends I've made in my entire life...besides the people paid to be around me. I'm not saying I can't make more but there's a lot of history, though some of it I'm not completely proud of. Of course I'm sounding sort of silly, but... I might miss this place just a bit.

Yes, I’m doing great actually! I lead a busy life, what with trying to keep up with my crazy boyfriend and everything, but it’s a lot of fun. How are you doing? All your classes going well?
I can imagine that gets kind of exhausting...I can barely keep up with Daisy half the time...But that's good. Oh yeah, just finishing out classes and everything, heading back to France once I graduate to assume my position there and everything. Lots of paperwork and events and planning.

Please and thank you. Yes. Definitely a fan of the navy blue shoes. Navy blue is actually my favorite color, so I might be a tad biased, but I think they’re classy shoes regardless of color.
I'm more of a royal blue kind of guy, but navy blue's good too. Those shoes only came in navy, black, and tan so I figured I'd get something a little different. Daisy's trying to help revise my fashion sense a bit, so thank you, Pin.

I'm attempting to do a little bit of public image repair so I'm figuring out ways of doing that. They're definitely not going away but lessening them might help before I head back to France.
