“You don’t have to be good all the times. It’s okay to be hurt sometimes. It’s okay to feel lost like you’re wandering around in the dark. It’s the bad days that make the good ones so much better.”
— Brittainy C. Cherry, The Air He Breathes (via books-n-quotes)

nood aan een knuffel
i like to pretend i’m emotionless but i have at least 200 mood swings a day
want to cuddle and slide my hand down your pants
Yeah I’m sad and depressed but at least I’m not racist or homophobic
wish i could take my brain out and blow on it like a nintendo ds game card
my personal curse is the knowledge that I function best with rigid structure and strict routine but am almost totally incapable of independently establishing or maintaining that structure and routine
you know what the w o r s t thing about adhd is? (at least i think this one is the adhd, could be one of the 429432 other things i have)
time is meaningless.
which means if i have one (1) thing that i need to do, my brain has to block the entire day out for it.
which means that even if it’s technically a “day off” if i have one (1) important obligation–even if it’s only gonna take like 2 hours out of hte day–my brain doesn’t count it as a “day off” so i don’t actually get to use it to decompress from everything else
which is how i end up going weeks or months without having a “day off” that my brain will register as such so my stress levels just keep compounding, and my energy levels keep plummeting, and it’s hell on earth is what it is
I think for me this is related to “event is at 6pm tonight. But time is meaningless so best just not do anything else in case you miss it”
Them: are you excited for your holiday?
Me: *no because that’s three events away so while I’m aware it’s coming up and I’m planning accordingly, I have to finish two other things in the order they appear in line* … Sure am
me, age 15: i cant wait to be 20 when i will finally reach my full potential, peak me,
me, on my 20s: i cant wait to die
I may legally be an adult but don’t be fooled, I have no idea what the hell im doing
