Coffee Before Church......
[Looks Up from Her Phone]Â
Oh, Aaron, HiâŚâŚ
April, how are you?
Coffee Before Church......
{Standing In Line Waiting My Turn]Â
[bumps into her]
Oh April. Sorry.
Back from a much-needed holiday
But AprilâŚ. you are my sister.
Aaron, how do you know for sure? Â What makes you think it is me over any one of the females here at the hospital? Â And if this is why you pushed me away. Â You and Parker are a piece of work who should write and produce your own science fiction show. Â
You... you remind me of my mother... You hair, your voice... and the commitment issues you wrote about in that letter. When you told me you were still a virgin it suddenly got to me.
Back from a much-needed holiday
I wish I was your sister because this would answer a lot of questions for the both of us. Â But I am definitely a farm girl from Ohio who was raised by her mother and father. Â
But April.... you are my sister.
Back from a much-needed holiday
Drew told me what you told him.
He.... he TOLD you? I'm sorry you had to hear via him, April. I was going to tell you...
Back from a much-needed holiday
Aaron, we need to talkâŚ..
Yeah, yeah we do need to talk.
Back from a much-needed holiday
Sorted quite some things out for myself...Except maybe one thing.
Man to Man || Drew & Aaron
"Thatâd be right," Drew informed him. He watched as Aaron spoke telling him he was from California, "I was born there, but raised in Britian. My mother is british but my father is Amercian."  He explained, "After my father had passed, I left my mother who was an alcoholic and went to New York where I got into NYU for a full scholarship," Drew was revealing a lot of information about his life and didnât know if he should have, but then he noticed that something was crossing the interns mind but he quickly snapped out of it, as if he didnât want Drew to notice. âIncident?â Drew questioned as he drank the rest of he drink, signaling the bartender once again.
"Oh, you grew up in Britain? Hence the accent," Aaron smiled. "I'm sorry to hear that," he said in a less cheerful tone when Drew told him about his parents. He thought to himself how hard Drew had worked for getting here, while he hadn't even had to worry about getting money for university. His parents had always given him whatever he wanted. His thoughts wandered off to April, or rather, his sister. Had his parents always tried to make up for what they had done to her by giving him anything he desired? He quickly shook off the thought. "Er, yeah the incident," Aaron nodded, "we were sort of dating before- before I ran off." He hesitated before continuing but he knew he had to tell someone about his presumptions. "I ran off because," he paused again, the words slowly forming on his tongue, "because I think she is my sister."
Tolerable Tuesdays.....
[Looks Down Than Back Up] I was wrong about you. Â I really was. Â [Opens the Door To Leave] And to think I thought you were different compared to the other guys here in Seattle. Â You are like the rest of them, you really are.
[Leaves The Room]
Tolerable Tuesdays.....
[Takes Him By The Hand and Goes Towards Empty Exam Room]Â
Aaron, you can tell me whatever it is. Â I thought you and I could tell each other anything. Â Was I wrong?Â
[tries to loosen her grip but follows]
I know, but... I can't tell you this because it would change everything forever and I would make everything into a mess. I can't tell anyone.
Tolerable Tuesdays.....
Whatever, when you can actually talk to me you know where to find me. Â
Yes, alright. [nods and looks down]
Tolerable Tuesdays.....
[Snaps Back]Â Still does not explain anything, you said one thing, I told you something, you just stood up and walked away. Â No excuses, no nothing. Â How would you have felt if I did that to you last week, Aaron?
There's... there's something going on with my family at the moment and I need time to think about... about everything... I was wrong to walk away like that without an explanation, I'm sorry.
Feel the Heart Beat || Cristina & Aaron
"mhm," she murmured and then gave him one chart she had put on the counter and then started to walk towards the elevators but then turned around and stared at him. "I wonât tell you to follow me. You follow me," she said and then continued walking. As they approached the elevators, she pushed the button and then the doors opened right then. She didnât say anything and they both entered the elevator and she again pushed the button to the cardio wingâs floor. "We have a heart patient today," she said coolly and waited for the elevator to go its way. Again silent, she walked out of the elevator and toward the patientâs room. "Are you following me?"
Aaron was left standing at the counter, unsure whether he should follow dr. Yang because he had no idea where she was going. He barely had any time to think before she told him what to do. He nodded obligingly. There was a silence and Aaron didn't break it because he didn't know what to say anyway. He couldn't supress a little smile appearing on his face when he realized they had an actual cardio patient. Cardio! "Yes, yes I am following." He stayed just a few steps behind her as they walked along the hallway, almost bumping into dr. Yang when they finally stopped at the door to a patient's room. He quickly stepped back and waited for dr. Yang to say something.
Man to Man || Drew & Aaron
Drew nodded, âThankfully, yes. Only because iâve been doing charts everyday all day,â he admitted. âAre you kidding? Iâve barely met anyone!â Drew laughed, âItâs like weâre only used for charting, I havenât been near any patient, maybe one if that,â Drew admitted, âHave you met Grey? They call her âMedusaâ,â Drew smiled. He was finally meeting someone other than the doctors who came to pick up charts, Drew took the last few sips of his drink, signaling Joe for another. âAre you from here? Seattle?â Drew asked. Drew wanted to get all this intern crap over with, he wanted to get to the real stuff. Actually saving patients for a change. By the way heâs heard about these residents, he wasnât expecting to get off of charting for a while. âWhose service have you been on?â he asked as the bartender handed him another drink.Â
Aaron laughed with Drew while he sipped at his beer. "I've done an awful lot of charting as well, I don't think I can stand the look of another one of these charts!" Aaron nodded, "yeah, I met Grey! I even met two Greys actually. Which one is Medusa? That'd probably be the older one, right? She seemed quite evil to me!" As Drew emptied his glass, so did Aaron. He asked for a refill. "No," Aaron answered, "no, I'm from California, I went to Stanford. You?" He thought of his sister and how he had come to Seattle to find her. He wondered if he should tell Drew. I probably wouldn't do any harm but he didn't really know the guy yet. The thought quickly left his mind when they went back to talking about residents and attendings. "Well," he thought, "I met Yang and the Greys and I was on a case with dr Kim Shepherd and then there was the-," he hesitated for a second, "um, incident with dr. Kepner..."
Tolerable Tuesdays.....
Am I okay? Â I am not the one who said one thing and did another, Dr. Darcy. Â I have no idea why I even told you what I did now, I really donât.
I'm sorry, April, I shouldn't have run off like that... But I just need- I need some time to think and figure things out. It's not your fault, ok?
Tolerable Tuesdays.....
[Looks Over And Sees Aaron] Hello, Dr. Darcy. Â [Shakes Head]Â
[Eyes her up and down carefully] Are you.... okay?
Tolerable Tuesdays.....
I hope the rest of the day is somewhat calm like it has been so far. Â Only time will tell. Â
[looks up from chart] April, hi. [nods]
