I really didn't want to make this post.

Yes, there is a gateway that connects Oneiron directly to the Central Exchange. No, its locations can't ever be disclosed, and even people who know will get turned away. The thing that might have been missed during the whole debacle is that everyone noticed the portal open because the portal launched a massive shockwave. I still have the cuts from all the broken glass on the other side. It's just too massive a jump. Plane tickets aren't that expensive.

And, for the record: The Invern person was caught. By Alchemists, but still.

P: I've got a better question. How come every single instance of sighting updates is coming from one access?

M: Is the implication that there's one single person investigating these things full-time?

L: Or one person running a demon-hunting ring.

P: Wait. The access isn't even flagging anything but [&k:00HLL].

M: So, someone who knows only about demons, and... Us?

D: It's a TSI thing.

The invisible thief struck again (details in the news, etc.) and attempted another escape.

There is a paramilitary anti-occult strike team in Montreal.

This doesn't make sense. I know military-grade gear when I see it, but Beast Theory holds that it'd be incompatible with magic.

Lists of confirmed and theorized materiel will be available in the morning.

WARNING: Advisory services will remain offline for another 24 hours. Something bad crawled into our Scrap Server architecture and we've been forced to perform a full data purge. Nothing to worry about, we've got extensive offline backups (and apparently L keeps a handwritten record for some reason).

The good news is, we'll have a real physical server to store information in afterwards. There has been plenty of clamor from readers for more comprehensive tools for filtering and communications. Those were impossible before (see: the search engine pool-tainting incident), but they'll be added as soon as all the testing is complete.

There's a trick to producing purified sunlight essentia.

It's a little counterintuitive, so bear with me: Artificial sunlight is easy enough to make— Fire and light are easy to find. But finding the right traces to get a real radiance effect is difficult! Unless you do a reacharound operation. Weather essentia can be made with only basic elements, and you can extract purified sunlight out of it when it's properly aged. It's a self-balancing reaction! Plus, it works with both transmutation and assimilation methods!

Good to see the weather issues had a real silver lining!

Okay, important news for anyone in Europe. Oneiron is doing a full gateway reset in roughly two weeks. If you'll tough it out in the city, make sure you've got enough food and medicine to make it through the 72 hour blackout. If not, make sure you reach out to a representative of your chosen Sphere to make sure you know where the nearest gateway will be afterwards.

Remember, the force-collapse shock reaches about a kilometer in radius. Be extra careful to avoid both blast zones when outside, and practice good infosec if you're having guests over on the inside.

Oh, great, of course this happens. General warning for the UK: Caliburn XIV is awake again. If you see it anywhere, contact the advisory and they'll run you through resealing processes.

Now, the actual warning: It isn't worth it.

If you've never seen Caliburn XVI, lucky you. That one is gonna try to convince you to fight for justice and goodness. Real marshmallow stuff. Caliburn XIV was more of a crisis tool, and it likes overthrowing the government.
