hello all, i noticed a lack of resource online for people who are curious about intersex genital mutilation scarring later in life without having to dig through surgery gore photos. i threw together some diagrams here (content warning for discussion of IGM and drawn genitalia diagrams) of the major surgeries that are completed on intersex children. worth noting this is based purely on my own research, and i am not a doctor, and i of course am not running around doing these surgeries myself. im absolutely free to corrections or adding more diagrams if other surgeries are brought up.

Claiming women are forbidden from being “sexy” because it’ll arouse men isn’t “feminism” but flat-out puritanism. Even when women aren't being “sexy,” there are still men who will find them sexually attractive, and they’re responsible for feeling this way.

You can’t claim to support women while simultaneously blaming them for how men feel about them and their bodies. Women being sexy isn’t setting us back, but your condemning of them is.

Yes, and: men being sexually attracted to a woman is not an inherently bad thing because men experiencing sexual attraction to women does not do anything to do the woman.

If a man finds a woman sexy, in the privacy of his own mind, that does not inherently degrade the women or lessen her in value. Whether you are defining that value by Christian purity or out of a feminist concern for "objectification." Someone finding you hot in their own mind has nothing to do with you and does nothing to you.

The very notion that men's sexual attraction towards women is something that women must constantly be concerned about warding off is just patriarchal. No matter what your line of logic is, you are maintaining the conclusion that to be sexually desirable as a woman is to lessen your humanity, and so women must constantly be constantly putting in the mental and physical energy to avoid ever potentially causing an emotion in other people's brains.

Men who sexually harass, men who view women they find sexy as less human, none of that is inherent to the experience of finding someone hot (and you can and people very much DO sexually harass people who they don't personally find hot, because it's a power move). It benefits NO! ONE!!! to act like men's private feelings of sexual attraction towards women create a Dehumanization Beam so all women must be obsessing over preventing any man from finding them sexually attractive and all (good) men must be obsessing over whether or not they are a fundamentally evil person for finding a woman hot in their own mind.

Someone being sexually attracted to you does not inherently do anything to you, it is not inherently dehumanizing or removes any value from you, until they choose to engage with you, their sexual attraction has literally nothing to do with you. The idea that if a man finds you hot as a woman it does something metaphysically negative to your worth as a human, is a misogynistic tale as old as time.

Like as op said it's just puritanism. You've just recreated puritanism but run on feminist arguments.

Non passing trans men don't benefit from misogyny whatsoever, besides possibly on the internet. If they are seen as a woman in someone's eyes, especially legally, they do not benefit from it. reproductive rights should extend to people that are not women.

people that dont conform to your expectations of gender deserve to have their identities respected, especially on legal documents.

Trans men do not benefit from patriarchy. This is exactly why you’re getting shit over this take. The patriarchy hates trans men and constantly tries to detransition us. What about trans men who don’t pass? Do they really benefit from male privilege?

Even stealth trans men do not benefit from patriarchy as their ‘privilege’ is contingent on no one knowing they’re trans. The second people know, that goes out the window. Not ONLY that, but stealth trans men face issues as well, such as access to reproductive healthcare. And like we’ve said multiple times: you’re leaving out men of color in this conversation. It’s such a white take which makes sense bc you’re white but it’s extremely ignorant. All men are not equal under the patriarchy, and not living up to the idea of what a man is has severe consequences for those who don’t. I seriously implore you to listen to especially black trans men on this topic. Black masculinity is very demonized under the patriarchy.

When it comes to healthcare, trans men are among the most likely to avoid care because of mistreatment and were among the highest to have negative experiences with healthcare providers.

When it comes to hormone and transition related surgery denials, trans men are among the highest.

I met her briefly at the state fair after an illegal breader dumped two domestication-attempt foxes at a wild life refuge near me. She was so sweet.

She may not have been perfect, but she was trying to do good. The foxes she "purchased" was a fur fame she bought out and contractually forced them to shut down. She was slowly finding homes for the foxes there but was deeply underwater with not enough support. It was 500 foxes in total. The weight of those foxes was also due to to conditions of said fur farm.

She was also criticized for pets she had prior through legal means. Snakes, and fennec foxes. Neither are illegal to have

The foxes are not legal, but animals who can not be released into the wild will always end up a pet. It's just how it is. And it's a gruesome cycle. Does not change that she didn't deserve to die. Or have her death celebrated for that matter.

Many of these people are doubling down while blaming it on her being too mentally ill, or two Tumblr posts in question (post 1, post 2) that claim that due to being on Tumblr they couldn't have contributed. Which is not even remotely true. All of the internet is connected no matter the platform and every Tumblr user knows this. We all know Tumblr posts go viral online, especially when reposted to Facebook, and all Tumblr users have more than one social media.
