It was a hot day in the Mojave. Hell, it always was. Joni was out in the middle of nowhere, where she liked to be when she did this. Nobody really knew that- in all honesty- she really loved Dinky the Dino. When she could, she’d come out to this spot, and pretend to be him, roars and all. She had set up branches, logs and rocks to become a small town, which she danced around and kicked all over. She became lost in her fun, completely oblivious to her surroundings.
[Aether’s just leaving The Strip, sent out on a job to deal with some Powder Ganger who has been giving customers at The Tops a hard time. As happy as he is to be out of the area, away from Luxe, he wishes he was taking part in a task that was a bit more... exhilarating. He knows he’s about to go find this person, beat ‘em within an inch of their life to send a message, and then make a deal for them to keep their life. If he was giving this explanation to someone he would shrug at this point. Authority doesn’t always come from a place of respect.
Hes walking toward the ol’  Dinky Dee-Lite Motel when he sees someone in costume. His eyebrows raise and he isn’t chuckling because he thinks it’s cute.] I didn’t know Dinky’s had a mascot. ‘S business slow?
