“I’m sure he would.” There was still a little bit of tension between herself and her father. It could be the fact that maybe, just maybe he didn’t trust her anymore but it was most likely the fact she just couldn’t bring herself to talk much with him anymore. Yes, it was selfish of her. “Alex? I thought the highgarden was already taken care of. Alex shouldn’t be able to take the throne if he doesn’t want to.” 

Ah, but her father’s line still needed a leader. Letting out a sigh, placings a kiss to his cheek. “I’ll start getting ready to head over. How long are you going to be at the museum today?”

Had she been comparing the two? Not having realized it before. Not even being able to forth more any words. Nothing seemed to be forming. It’s not like she could just come out and say she’d wrote to Yeri right after awakening and that he himself was a half soul. Hell almost all of Reaper7 were of supernatural blood. That, he never wrote back making it seem that maybe he had moved on just like that. No emotion to her voice ( something she’d started to pick up through trying not to focus on her emotions ) “Maybe you’re right, maybe he has forgotten me.” pausing “And, I understand...” 

Out of everyone she’s met so far, Cole was the one she felt closest to. Being able to talk about just anything with. But there was one thing Sunni was scared of. Telling him or anyone really about the hallucinations that’d started while being captive. If this was how he felt already about Yeri then there was no point of saying anything about the person who was like a nightmare walking around while no one else could see.

the corner of her lips tugged up into a soft smile as their lips met. “we could always order in and watch some Disney movies?” meeting his lips once more, rose hummed. “that way we can still lay in bed and be lazy but still be up or you could fall back asleep.” having an inkling that her boyfriend just didn’t want to leave the bed just yet. her brother tended to be the same way first thing in the morning. hand reaching up to mess up his already bedheaded hair.

Stunned, that’s the only word that describes the feeling rushing through her blood. “Cole, I--” not even knowing how to form words. Funny coming from the girl that couldn’t keep her mind at bay after turning. “You both have your quirks” it wasn’t like one could forget their best friend, heck their first love just like a snap of a finger.
