They sighed, leaning back on the couch as they smiled softly.“What was your favorite part about this year…” He mumbled, glancing at the male who treated their wounds.
“Oh, a lot of things. I like to live my years in three simple tasks; Learn, Teach, and Spread Joy. If I have learned something or learned of someone, then I have learned. If I managed to tell something new to someone, I have taught. And if I managed to make someone’s life a little better, I have spred joy. I feel as though I did a sufficient amount of those things.” He paused a moment, looking up at the child as he did. “You’ve certainly helped me in quite a few of those things.”
They blinked, and smiled a little."Oh you're just trying to flatter me...how did I manage to help with those things?" They asked, genuinely curious. They didn't think of themselves as inspiring.
Sorry In Advance
Hayden wasn’t quite sure how this happened. All they did was simply bursting with energy, and then they were back to their old self again. Everything looked so small, like it was a play pen, but their heart stopped the minute they heard the door open. Hayden always played around in the yard with some children in town, so it wasn’t a bad thing when they were gone for a while. Now all they could do was stare at their father figure, terrified for his reaction.
@salesmanofhappiness
Tortus stared up at the frightful visage. It towered over him, still, but no less imposing. He left out a deafening shriek and stumbled back into the side door. He tripped, falling back on the floor. He still attempted to get within the safety of his shop. Tortus knew the walls wouldn’t stop this creature if it really wanted to get him, but it at least could buy him time.
They sighed a little to themselves, figureing that is what the response would be. They glanced around, and not knowing how to say it was them. Calling out wasn't a good idea thanks to their size. They simply, as lightly as can be, knock on the door with their beak.

Tortus gave her a smile. “Thank you sweetheart.” He walked away from the cupboards to go back to work.
She quickly used her magic to climb to the top, and open the cabinet, smiling.
Tortus hadn’t seemed to notice his request had been ignored. Though, a certain feline had. With an amused toothy grin, she watched from her perch atop the bookshelf. She did nothing else but watch this event unfold.
The child then spotted the feline, and smiled as she held up a finger to her mouth, ushering her to be quiet with a smile as she got a cookie, and flinched as her magic went out, and she fell to the ground, holding the cookie jar tightly. She quickly hid it behind her back with a nervous smile."Nothing!"

You are still going to be here after the change. If your characters and relationships you’ve made on this shit storm of a site, is too important to abandon.
Harmony sat down on a rock in the Lost Woods, sighing softly. She escaped from her mother, clenching the rock as blood seeped from her wounds, she called out for help, before fainting, rain washing off the blood, or at least most of it.
The Happy Mask Salesman had been travelling for some time, and was by now hoping to get out of the rain before he and his beloved masks might end up completely soaked through. It wasn’t the warmest night either, but the redheaded man kept on smiling all the same.
That is, until he heard a feeble cry.
Immediately putting his guard up, but concerned by the noise, he moved in the direction it had come from with a great deal of caution that only died down when he came across a young girl lying out cold.
“Oh… oh my. Little one?” he called upon approaching. No answer. “Young lady, hello? Can you hear me?”
Gently supporting the girl, he tried to sit her up at first to see if she’d wake, only to soon decide to pick her up and make for the nearest shelter. She looked injured, and it was raining far too much.
He raised an eyebrow and looked the girl up and down, as if slightly suspicious. “Didn’t you just say you don’t have a plan? Nowhere to go? Why leave so soon, and with a complete stranger?”
Harmony looked at him, and nods."I don't have a plan but- I need to leave here as soon as possible or hide here forever.." She mumbled, clenching her hands together.

“Oh… Oh my dear, I’m afraid that’s not true. Not for most of us, at least.”
His expression took on a little more of a serious edge. Despite still trying to keep up a smile, the difference was obvious. He spoke more softly, gently, not wanting to scare her all the same.
“The fact is, no matter what person or creature rules these lands, we all have one true ruler… time. It governs and defines everything, the only thing to prove that we exist. If you lose track of it, and don’t have a plan for yourself, time will make one for you, whether you like it or not. You’re better off having a choice in the matter, I’d say.”
She looked around to him, and looks out the window.“Well- I choose to stay with you!…for now if that’s okay!…”
“Me?!” The Salesman nearly jumped back in shock. “Wha- but little one, I know barely a thing about children, and I’m so often traveling about on dangerous roads, never putting down roots for long! You would be far better off with some kindly person from this town! Perhaps the innkeepers would like a child if there isn’t already one on the way…”
The little girl looked to him, almost giving him a look, as if scanning him. As she saw, she shook her head."I don't trust people in this town...besides I need to leave as soon as possible anyway..." She mumbled, clenching his hand."I beg of you..."
((Hey guys! I’m going to be adding a new Verse to this blog. a Smash verse! Yeah, I know, Tortus doesn’t aactually fight, but honestly I’ve alway wanted him in smash for some reason. “Me? Well child, I had been travelling as I often do, collecting wonderful masks from far and near to find new homes for. Happening upon you was a bit of a shock, though. You’re lucky that we weren’t too far from Clocktown.”
With every word he retraced his steps as if living it all again, trying to think of if he’d seen anything suspicious before finding the girl. Nothing, as far as he could remember, but that only made him feel more sad for the poor thing, having to face whatever she’d been through alone without anyone who might care being around to witness it.
“I suppose now that I’m back here once more, I had better properly set up shop this time and see how this old place has changed. What do you plan on doing, my dear?”
She glanced outside, and glanced over with a shrug.“I really don’t know…” She admitted.“What do you think?..” She asked, looking at him with confusion yet concern. What was he gonna say.
“Eh?” His response sounded completely baffled, as if the idea that this random little innocent wanting his opinion was the most unexpected thing. “Why ever would you ask a man you barely know what you should do? Don’t you have a plan of your own, child? Somewhere to go?”
To be honest, the more the salesman looked at this girl, the more helpless and fragile she seemed. It was playing some awful trick on his heart, making it seem like the world would end if he dared leave her to figure things out alone. It was so sad.
“Forgive me, but you… don’t seem like one who believes in their own strengths very much.”
She shook her head quickly. That was an easy statement to agree on she believed. She never trusted herself, and that was very apparent. The innocent look she gave him said that clearly.
"I don't really have a plan...never have and I don't believe I need to...right?" She asked, and tilted her head at her own statement, thinking deeply about it.
