IMO saying "[X] is not real [X]" or "if you like [X] you're not a real fan" is incredibly hostile and very unproductive. You can dislike and critique something without pissing on anyone else and making them feel bad for liking it. You can also like something and acknowledge and critique its faults. They are not mutually exclusive.
