Stupid question: I've just started The X Files but some people told me that it would have been better for it to have ended after a specific season. Do you agree, or should I watch all of it?

No no, that’s a completely logical question. I’m going to try to word this so I don’t spoil anything for you but hopefully I answer your question. For me I agree and disagree. I originally loved the show for its mystery and sci-fi aspects which had me completely entranced, I’d stay up really late even on school nights just watching it because each episode was so interesting and different from any show I had ever watched. Pretty quickly I also became very interested in Mulder and Scully’s life and it’s hard not to because they’re such captivating characters and well the show revolves around them. If you’re someone who really enjoys the sci-if aspect of it rather than the personal life’s of Mulder and Scully then I think you should watch the whole thing. Then there are people who watch it because they cannot get enough of Mulder and Scully’s chemistry and I understand them for thinking it would be better for it to have ended after a specific season (I felt this way too while i was watching) because things weren’t how they used to be (there could be many other reasons as well but that just depends on the person you’re asking). In my opinion I’d watch the entire thing, that may be because I’m not one to stop watching a show once I’ve started and even though the show changed, it ended the way I wanted it to, different than I had expected but I was still happy in the end. I’m sorry I don’t know if this was a good response because I tried really hard to not reveal anything but feel free to DM me If you have anymore questions.
