A quickie before bed.

“Austrian born Jefferson Gobel, a wanderer in eastern Europe towards the tail end of the 1890s. Accounts are scarce and never quite the same between those who encountered him, but sometime after the turn of the century he appeared in America having seemingly turned himself over to God, working the confessional at whatever church he finds himself in (though never for too long).

Rumors circulate that he contracted some strange disease while on his travels, requiring fresh blood to survive. Likewise, many claim that he is far older than he seemingly appears, with a photograph from 1894 showing him with the same youthful vigor he displays in 1924.

Some say he feeds on those of extreme guilt who’s crimes weigh heavy that visit his confessional, and punishes himself after with an ever tighter belt across his heart.”

Yeah do em

An 8 foot tall amphibious humanoid frankensteins creature found hooked up to a wooden board in metal restraints at the tail end of a sunken sea freighter in 1910 by Professor Wilton Watts. Nobodies quite sure what he is or where he’s from, with some rumors floating about of him being an extraterrestrial. Nevertheless, Charon is fairly personable and helps scour the ocean depths on discovery missions for Watts to find lost treasures or exotic life.
