Hi - I love your series, and I'm so happy with the way you interpreted The Three Musketeers! Just a couple of questions - can you tell me what dong was playing in the last episode? Also, is there a music playlist that you use for the characters or eps? (I'm very into music setting a tone for character and mood for shows, so I'm curious?) Weekly Recap - Finale Week
Here we go folks, we’re at the end.
Operation Keep Connie is in full swing (not even gonna try to copy out that ridic acronym D made up). That’s a mouthful.
So yes, they’re having an event to raise money so Connie can stay at Dumas and why do I get the feeling this isn’t going to go according to plan.
Turnout is a bit low at the start, so D scampers off to get a crowd going, and Alex takes her disastrous selfie game with them to document the occasion.
That’s a good question.
Awkwardness ensues. Good to see these two talking though. If they want get back together they need to talk more and Ariana needs to be way less of an ass. So this might be a step in the right direction for them. If there’s a season 2, that’d be a good arc for them.
HAHA yeah that might be a bit hashtag too soon but it was pretty funny. They go out to hand out buttons and they’re only allowed to throw them at Rick. Seems fair.
Sassy’s shipping is adorable.

A parasite, even. He just attaches to people to get what he wants. In this case, it was revenge.
Someone grew a pair and might actually stand up for himself. And he does! He lays down the law and tells Manton it’s not his job to help him get revenge on exes. Looks like Maton’s plans are falling down around him. He’s basically just a bully and when the bullied stand up for themselves, he loses his power. He slinks out, most likely leaving a trail of slime behind him.
Hooray! Sorta. They might need more money.

Distance isn’t a big deal for Dorothy and ehhh i gotta agree with Connie. It’s not easy. I’ve done it. Luckily we both had the means and time to travel fairly frequently before I moved. If we didn’t have that though? It would’ve been brutal. And we probably wouldn’t have lasted.
Yeah I still don’t ship it and I’m still not feeling a ton of chemistry but I’m glad the shippers got their moment.

So it seems like it’s all wrapped up nicely - Dorothy’s moving into the MST house, everyone’s excited about it, she got the girl. Anne might be leaving but Treville the Badass and Portia are possible replacements for her so that’s cool. I’d for sure vote for Portia. They’ve even broken through some of Treville’s frostiness!
Kinda figured something like this was gonna happen, but ‘tis cute nonetheless. Good job, online squad!

Weekly Recap - Episode 25-27
Well yea that was pretty obvious eh? Of course she’s gonna be a pledge now.
Interesting to note that the IRL crew has joined the online peanut gallery. Wonder if that means we’re going to see less of them for a bit.
She doesn’t seem that impressed. But she did get permission to film though. From her new BFF Anne.

Perks of being a pledge seem to be kinda few and far between on the grand scheme so while others (Connie) get to run cool errands and plan parties, Dorothy is stuck calling people to confirm attendance for a party
Well it’s good to have plans, y’know. I hate talking on the phone so I’d much prefer Connie’s duties of planning parties. I could do with less pink stuff though. Vodka is fine, however. Connie doesn’t seem super into it but D does and welp
There it is. I know the Dornie shippers are all in a tizzy but man I’m just not seeing a ton of chemistry between these two. (Maybe it’ll be stronger later?) In a moment of chivalry, Dorothy asks how she’s doing with the breakup and it was a long time coming, apparently. Monty wasn’t big on leaving Kingston or coming out (which, ok fine but some people have reasons for it or don’t feel safe doing it).
Well look who’s back and still shitty. He wasn’t hiding out of shame, he was on a little trip to Kingston. Yikes. Guess who he met up with?

Having done the distance thing I can agree, yes it’s hard and no do not blame Connie for this. Miller’s the jackass who leaked them. Help D track him down so she can break his legs.

And $10 in savings and that’s pretty accurate for most college kids i knew. We had a lot of nights of scrounging up change to order post-pub pizzas.
They’ve discussed this a lot and there doesn’t seem to be much to do, and Dorothy’s offer of a signed photo is...cute but not gonna do much. Connie’s parents call the shots and she’s gotta go. Not even the threat of a pyromaniac or a sex-maniac roommate will help.

Once she settles down a bit, D does make a good point - call the parents bluff and raise your own money. Out-negotiating a Fortune 500 negotiator might be hard so...you can Kickstarter school fees, yeah? Connie seems into the idea of gaining some financial independence, so now it’s just a matter of ow to go about doing it.
k maybe not that, but i’m sure they’ll come up with a plan and like, half of it will go well.

You won't be likely to be able to answer this question since it would be a big spoiler however I have to ask, Will you be following the example of the book with Dorothy (D'Artagnan) and Connie (who I assume is your version of Constance Bonacieux) with there relationship or going your own way like most of the series?
We will not be following the book’s example with D+C in the sense that their association with each other will not (spoiler alert for the book) lead to anyone’s death. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait and see ;)
