Why? its not about disrespect, its because they dont have the impulse control or the handle on their emotions that an adult parent should. And you dont get to punish them for their reaction to your shitty parenting. That’s just the tea for today folks.

I also want to point out that theres a big difference between yelling out of general frustration (we’ve all been there, but you still need to cool down, apologize, and set an example) and yelling directly at your kid for the sake of intimidation.
