I used to live there and still travel back for work and because my own family fell in love with it when they'd visit. Haha. Do you like it year round or just in certain seasons?

Alex: Aw, thank you! I'm so glad people loved it, it's not often I get to do something serious like that. I appreciate it a lot more now that I don't live there full time, but I also see its faults too. It's definitely horrible during winter and summer, because extreme weather is either stupid cold or melting levels of hot. I like spring though. And fall.

I don’t think you necessarily need to be a psychologist or be able to prescribe medicine to provide comfort to people. You can do that all on your own. Oh good, because Eunice has been looking forward to making her big break and I told her it was only a matter of time.

Most important question, what flavor did you get when you finally went back to ice cream? She has great taste, I can’t deny that. Though nothing makes me feel more old than when there’s a scramble for items I grew up with because they’re suddenly retro. I wonder if elderly folks feel that way about vinyl. You can still be super hot and struggle to get up from the couch, look at me! Okay, I couldn’t even say that with a straight face if that’s any indication how much I believe that. I bet she didn’t even have her license, either. 

It was absolutely devastating, especially as someone who spends as much time as she can eating ice cream. I couldn’t even do that, there were days where I couldn’t even drink water. It was tragic. Chocolate chip cookie dough, the only kind that matters. Right? My brother bought a viewfinder for his daughter a few weeks ago and she’s treating it so delicately and like she’s never seen anything like it. She keeps trying to tap the screen thinking it’s an iPad. Probably. I feel that way about cassette tapes sometimes. Do you struggle to get up from the couch, though? Shush, have confidence in yourself! She definitely didn’t, her and her friends had those rentable scooters.

Well there are people out there in the grand scheme of the universe might not look too kindly on the fact that I think that you should be given the Oscar in light of what happened. Alex: She was INCREDIBLE, oh my God. Watching her on set in general is like...practically magnetic, but seeing her in that show? Incredible. Hey, but that's the fun part of television, right? We never know where things are gonna go next.

Alex: I've been good! Doing some promo for the White Lotus and for your consideration purposes. It's weird that I'm still promoting a show I'm no longer part of, but I get to be in New York again which always makes me happy

I feel like your movie was way better, but if I start saying that out loud the Oscars might not want me to be a presenter next year and that’s what I’m aiming for. It’s called Boy Kills World, so you know, can’t accomplish that without having some skills. I have to say I don’t envy that either when I imagine the diet was intense too? For as much as I complain about having to work out, a cheat day here and there doesn’t tend to make as much a difference versus having to be on display like that. She goes through phases with them, though the last was Moana so it’s not like I can complain about a love of that film. You can’t go wrong with the classics though, young you had taste. But just think, this is what’s waiting in the future for you four years from now, struggling to get off the couch. I really hope you sweetly told her you have a driver’s license and will run her over for saying that nonsense? These kids need to learn. They already make us feel old, they’re not limiting our playlists too.

Ooh, interesting. I love the title. Hopefully it works out for you. It was a bit treacherous, I will admit. I enjoy how I feel now but I did go almost a solid year without eating ice cream, and that hurts worse than any work out I could have ever done. Ooh, Moana is a great choice. It was the princess movie, you know? Plus one of the first to be released on VHS, and there was a scramble for them. Impossible, I’ll still be super hot when I’m forty. I absolutely did, I told her she can judge me for my music taste when she’s able to relate to the song.

I appreciate that so much, you have no idea. I’ve kept my depression a secret for so long, and I know people deal with the same stuff. Mental health is no joke, it starts consuming you when you bottle it up and it shouldn’t be like that. It’s somehow comforting knowing someone relates to what you’re saying and helps them somehow, as it helps me when I open up. I would love to have you as a guest. Let me know when you’re free.

I think that it’s really important to be open about that kind of stuff, honestly. Because like you said, you never know if someone feels the same way as you and you never know if you’re helping them by helping yourself. Oh I would love to. Is a dog mandatory? Cause I do have one of those.

I know a lot of people that don’t love an a single artist but rather just enjoy the songs from a multitude of people which is probably the best way to expand your musical repertoire. Do you at least have a favourite song?

I’ll  give it a listen soon, I’m just really bad at keeping up with things, unfortunately. But I promise I will try. I’ve always listened to a little bit of everything, it’s just better that way. I listen to what I like, not anything specific. This week it’s Somebody to Love from Queen, but that could also change.

As much as I’ve always loved martial arts and love even more I’ve been learning and doing a lot of it for filming, it is exhausting. Between filming and working out, I don’t think there’s been a day over the last month my body hasn’t ached. A got a small break this weekend when my daughter visited. We saw some sea lions at the zoo and had a Disney marathon, all time well spent. Though while we were shutting things down for her bedtime, she groaned when she got up from the couch. My first thought was wondering if she’d hurt herself, but apparently she was just imitating me getting up from the couch. And I proceeded to laugh myself stupid over being roasted by a three year old. When you have as many siblings as I do, it’s nothing unusual, but damn. If she’s starting this early, I’m almost afraid of what she’ll come up with when she puts some real effort into it. Anyway, I’m Bill, but just call me ancient. Martial arts? What film are you doing that’s requiring you to learn that? I think that’s super fascinating, I’ve only done an intense physical regimen for one movie and that was mostly because I was in a bathing suit for half of it. Disney marathons are fun though! Does she have a particular favorite movie? My favorites growing up were super basic, I really liked the Little Mermaid. She’s smart though, for trying to imitate you, that’s funny. I refuse to call you ancient, not when you’re four years younger than me. Honestly, things make me feel old every day. I was playing Olivia Rodrigo while I was driving the other day and some girl told me that only young people born in the year 2005 are allowed to listen to it.

Harry Styles is releasing his new song today and I would just like to apologise in advance for the person I'll become when that happens I will make it my entire personality for at least a solid month. He released Fine Line all the way back in 2019 and I still haven't gotten over it. Does anyone else have that one artist they can listen to on a continously loop and not grow bored? Being in the music industry, I'm sure it's no shock to anyone that I love listening to different artists. A lot of the time it's people I'm sure everyone has heard of but there are certain newbies that pop up now and then and leave me in a state of bliss and I'd love to dive into other people's favourites so if you could leave me any recommendations, I'd appreciate it.
