Writers are curious beings; falling in love with one is an insane act designed for only those with patience. They can be frustrating to deal with because they forget those simple things that most people in relationships remember. They will forget your anniversary, what movie you two watched on your first date, and even your birthday. It can become frustrating and irritating when it seems like they just don't care. And for a writer, they surprisingly almost never have the right words to say when you need to hear them; they become flustered easily and you wonder if they are at a lost of words because maybe they just don't love you enough. Sometimes, it's like they're always in a constant state of day dreaming; not listening to all the words you have to say always making you repeat yourself.

Falling in love with a writer takes patience. For it's only when you see what they write down do you begin to understand them. They may forget simple dates and activities you two have done; but they can remember the curve of your smile perfectly and they can describe those little quirks that you think goes unnoticed without any difficulty. You'll soon realize that they're always at a lost of words when you need those comforting words the most because they're perfectionist. They are always in search for those perfect sequences of words to say to you that are impossible to find; where no combination of letters or words found in the dictionary could ever do justice to describe how they feel and care about you. And though they never seem like they are paying attention when you say or do something, the truth is they are always observing. They miss parts of the words you say in favour of looking at you playing with your fingers in the same pattern that you do when your in a certain mood. They're not day dreaming - but rather learning about everything about you; they're constantly falling deeper in love with you, every little detail of you, even those that you fail to notice about yourself. Like I've said, writers are curious beings and falling in love with one should be consider an act of insanity.

The worst part writing is that my words are never my own. Once ink leaves a pen and touches paper, those words that were once mine are stolen and is never returned. The meaning I intended these words to have when they are written are immediately lost as they are read, and takes an entirely new meaning by the reader.

I can attempt to write a sequence of words that are meant to describe the beauty of love. A person suffering from a broken heart may see it as lies scribbled across the page that is adding to their misery. A child may immediately think of those fairy tales they constantly fantasized about. And someone in love may feel these words fall short of describing love with justice, as their experience of love is something that can never be capture with just words.

In the end, I'm left with nothing as the emotion and thoughts that were used to write escaped with the ink forming these words. In the end, all I see are words that are not mine anymore and one day I will forget that I have even written them. My eyes may even past by these words fifty years from now and I'll assume that a stranger had written them. You see, the worst part of writing is that your letting everything you kept inside go, never realizing that you may of not been ready to let it all go just yet.
