Shifting Tides Trailer

Synopsis:

Ahmedbhai and Ismailbhai are few of the remaining Unt Maldharis who have continued their forefathers business. They are the caretakers of the Kharai camels who they have had a bond with for almost 7 generations since they settled on the coast of Kutch. The Maldharis lead their camels who have to swim more than 3 km to graze in the mangroves. They now face the problem of invasion in their livelihood which they have managed to sustain till today.

Caught In The Net is a documentary film about the fish industries in Malkangiri district of Odisha. Local NGO’s are helping local women create a source of income as Malkangiri is one of India’s poorest district.

Camel Milk - Treasure of Kutch is a film about the camels in the Kutch region of India. Looking at promoting the camel milk industries and also helping the Unt Maldharis (Camel Herders) having another source of income in their livelihood.

Through his tudy of an individual, a signboard painter, deconstructing his gestures and breaks them down into repetitive movements that could easily be done of an abstract artist.
