Portable gas detectors refer to gas detectors worn or held by a person. The most popular example of this in-use is in a confined space where there is no imminent risk of gas or oxygen shortage but there is still a possibility of the danger And then an Escape BA package is held so that the customer can donate the package and free himself from a dangerous environment. An Escape Package consists of a thin, either 2.0L or 3.0L compressed air cylinder that feeds air into a facepiece. Escape Sets are typically equipped with either a close-fitting positive pressure face mask or a loose-fitting hat. Current full-face mask users will typically choose a close-fitting face mask convenience and familiarity, whereas novice users will find the loose-fitting hood safer to give in an emergency. This is also worth noting that a loose fit hood will suit users with facial hair and glasses.

 Self-contained Breathing  Equipment:

Self-contained breathing apparatus or compressed air ventilation equipment is used to enter a known hazardous environment. One person we can also know is the Emergency Department, which use SCBA to reach environments where there are smoke and noxious fumes, but SCBA is used in other entries where there is a toxic substance, asphyxiate or oxygen-deprived environment. An SCBA package consists of three main components – a compressed air tank, a back-plate retaining the tank and lowering the air from 200-300bar high pressure to 5-11 bar medium pressure, which in turn provides a face shield. Self-Contained BA allows customer flexibility, ensuring they can travel about independently rather than being connected to an airline.
