For the majority of my life, I’ve always felt suicidal. I’ve never been the happiest person. Experiencing depression at such a young age definitely was the worst thing for me. I don’t feel genuine happiness without the afterthought of sadness. No matter how good things seem, there’s always a lingering feeling that I should appreciate them more, as if I’m taking everything for granted.
