The Revival of Akillian: Prologue
So I found this book that’s basically a novellisation of the show, it covers the episodes up to the Red Tigers match and it’s a “part 1″, so I guess there were gonna be more books but they never wrote them.
Anyway the prologue’s really interesting because it actually gives us some new information on Akillian’s origins and how the flux wars broke out! They really don’t pull their punches either. Translation is continued under the cut, but take it with a grain of salt because I’m not a French speaker, plus the book wasn’t written by the creators of the show but they may have overseen it, who knows?

“When Humans swarmed into the Galaxy long ago, they encountered all kinds of people living on different kinds of worlds, sometimes very bizarre. Some of these beings were humanoid and could understand human thought, they could even mingle with our fellow human beings. Most of them welcomed the Humans with joy, interest, or curiosity. These are the peoples – the Lightnings, the Wambas, the Shadows, the Cyclops, the Rykers, etc. – which are discussed in this story.
The Humans settled on a small hospitable planet, apparently devoid of any intelligent life forms, which they named Akillian. They founded a capital there: Arcadia. They exploited local resources: rare metals, mineral salts, and above all, very pure water, exported to more arid worlds. They traded with their humanoid neighbors, in peace, equity and harmony…
Until the day the Lightnings introduced them to the Flux.
