Society if D'Jok had kissed Micro-Ice instead of Mei at the end of the first season
Random thought but I feel like there should have been more emphasis on Mei and Thran's friendship, I mean they're both defenders so during matches they need to be in sync and communicate well throughout the game for the defense to be strong. They don't need to have that strong of a bond with the attacker and midfielders for example
The same goes for Mice + D'Jok (+ Sinedd occasionally) and Rocket + Tia, they play the same position so they naturally work together more than with the other player. The thing is all these relationships are explored both by themselves and how they affect the game, the only one that's left out is Mei and Thran
We do get hints of their friendship in s2 when Mei they do a commercial together and in s3 with Mei's goodbye message, but that's just not enough especially when you compare it to the others. Like we never even get to see how Thran deals with essentially having to play defense by himself in the first half of s1 when Mei wants to be an attacker and actively ignores her role as defender, we get one brief scene where Thran is annoyed with Mei and that's it. We also don't get to see how he feels when Mei actually plays attack in Mice's place, forcing Thran to play with a clone who literally costs them the game, and we don't get to see his reaction to Mei finally taking defense seriously or how their relationship changes after that. I think it would've helped Mei's character as well, it'd easier to accept her change of attitude if we saw her trying to get along with the teammate she actually plays with instead of just D'Jok and Mice
Even beyond s1, imagine if we could see the impact of Mei's absence through Thran having a hard time playing defense with Lunzia (Lunzira?), or how Mei deals with Thran missing for like half the game when he goes on a mission with the Pirates
Idk I just feel like the show didn't put much of a thought into either of their relationships tbh, Thran's only really close with Ahito and Yuki despite supposedly being close friends with Mice and D'Jok before the start of the show, and Mei's main relationships are with her love interests and Tia in s2 and s3, presumably just because they're both girls, as they didn't get along in s1 and we don't get to see how they became such close friends in-between seasons

Rewatching season 3 and who the fuck are the Sandmen of Menor and the Pulsars
Like I understand that logically there have to be more teams than the ones we've seen, season 1 does occasionally mention and also just imply through background characters that there are more planets out there, it's something I thought about a lot, the potential season 2 and 3 had to explore new teams and planets instead of just sticking with the ones introduced in season 1, it would've made the show feel less repetitive
We do get the Xenons in season 2 and the Electras and Team Paradisia in season 3, but all 3 of those teams specifically did not compete in season 1 because they didn’t have the Flux
And I understand that they probably didn't want to spend their budget on designing all those new teams and planets and making the 3d models (honestly they were pushing the limited budget in season 3 as is), but I'm a bit bewildered by the choice in season 3 to just randomly mention 2 up until that point non-existent teams in a throwaway scene, confirming that there are more teams competing in the gfc than we see, especially when season 2 tried very hard to convince the audience that this was somehow not the case
Also I think they even manage to contradict themselves later, when Clamp is collecting all the Fluxes near the end of the season and we clearly see that the only Fluxes he extracted were from the few teams we've seen minus the Rykers for some fucking reason

It might seem otherwise because Mice is canonically a hopeless romantic, but D'Jok's the real yearner in their relationship
We've clowned on Aarch before because of how little of a fuck he gave whenever a sk ran away in s1, but can we talk about s2 for a moment? This is the second time Rocket has run away and he goes missing for weeks but Aarch's biggest concern is whether the sk can win the gfc again without their captain. He somehow manages to make even less of an effort to find Rocket than he did in s1 cause at least then he informed Norata about what happened, s2 he just assumes Rocket's with his parents and doesn't even bother to check. And then when they eventually find him no thanks to Aarch, he doesn't even bother to go see him, he just sends D'Jok and Mark to do it, like bro that's your one and only nephew can you at least pretend to care about his wellbeing
