I know many people say this, but I have the best dad out there. Nothing makes you feel more special than when someone chooses to love you and protect you. When they choose to care for you and encourage you. When someone chooses to be your dad, that is the greatest feeling in the world. He might be overprotective, but I know he does it because he loves me unconditionally. Thank you for loving me all the time: when I'm happy, when I'm sad, and even when I'm moody. Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you for being such a great cook. Thank you for loving my mom in such a way that makes me want to find someone that loves me as much. Thank you for not letting a week go by without telling how proud you are of me. Thank you for seeing my potential and believing in me, even when I have nothing but doubts about myself. I got best friends! They're amazingly supportive. They love the Lord above all else. They make me laugh. We can literally sit in the car in the parking lot and talk for 2 hrs. #HappyMothersDay to my other mom--my grandma. Wisdom, kindness, and a deep love for God fill her heart. She's also one of the most stylish women I know. I aspire to be as God-loving and fashionable as she is. Te quieo muchisimo. Tu chombita ❤

I was talking to my mom about all the things moms say when they are trying to discipline their children and looking at pictures with mom sayings. We were laughing because she use to say a lot of those things, and her mom use to tell her a lot of those things. And I was thinking of the many correazos my mom gave me. And the times she punished me. But among all those memories I also remember the most loving mom. She would write me these letters/notes and leave them in my room the morning after we had an argument and tell me how much she loved me. And at the end of these notes she would write "If God gave me the opportunity to have a child in heaven I would ask him to be you." Every time it would make me cry. She has always been my biggest fan. She has always been the best-est friend I've had. But most of all, she has always been the greatest mom. I would not be who I am or where I am if it wasn't for her. And I will always be thankful for her. Mami, I love you a lot. And if God gives me the opportunity to have a mom in heaven, I will ask him to be you. #HappyMothersDay
