things i like about scarabedo:
there has probably never been a person who has understood how scara's puppet body worked who could thus help him with injuries and such who actually respected him as a human with dignity. i like the idea of scara very very hesitantly letting albedo treat him after being traumatized by a certain il dottore and then slowly getting comfortable with albedo, who is such a careful person.
i feel like they both have issues socializing and scara especially doesn't interact well with people who get too enthusiastic or awkward, but albedo and scara together seem like people who could just sit in silence, not do small talk and go straight to some deep or complicated subject, but also tease each other and joke. i am not projecting i promise. what i mean is like, they would not be exhausted from talking to each other.
they're both synthetic humans made with khaenri'ahn arts but neither of them has ever seen khaenri'ah and i think both of them have complicated feelings about their creation.
they'd probably either A) enable each others' tendencies to not take care of theirselves since they could get carried away on a project together or B) force each other to consider their own well being
i kinda wrote a scene about this but like i think if teyvat had multiple languages they both know many, and they could just start arguing in classical khaenri'ahn or something while nobody else understands them
i always wonder about how scara would feel about susbedo's case, because i feel like susbedo aka subject two has parallels with scara.....
i 100% headcanon scara as trans and i tend to think albedo is maybe intentionally made androgynous because in alchemy that's considered Cool™. although idk if albedo would be there yet because albedo is only the second stage, but whatever. i think they'd have interesting insights on gender.
i mean also just. albedo wanting to find out how scara's body works out of intellectual curiosity, but because they're friends who joke around together the detachment and clinicalness gets taken away from it, so it just ends up being kinda gay.
idk i just think they're two people who are not used to intimacy and i'd like to see them figure that out.
ik people call durin the "child" of scarabedo but the way i see it is that they're like if you befriended someone in school who is in a lower grade and they invited you over and you met their older brother and fell in love with said older brother. which imo is a very fun dynamic. also i would imagine it's fun for durin that his good friend and brother are a thing and they all get to hang out together
