being as i am an idiot, and having been one my whole life, i just wanna say that i find it very easy to do nothing, and go nowhere. i eat chocolate late at night in the dark. i stand in the garden also. and i’m often waiting for something to happen. and i’m stupid.
Peeing
Again with this

Spent the day with regirock. He's a fantastic guy. Great sense of humor and also 200 physical defense
I will often start crying when I think too hard about how far Kasane Teto has come considering she was an April Fool's joke.
thought i saw a bug crawling on me but it turns out it wasnt a bug or even anything at all
Google says it’s no different than checking IDs at the airport.
This is just another form of censorship, control of what we can/can't see and engage with, and another means of getting our private information.
Alternative forks of AOSP (Android Open-Source Project) which are not maintained by Google and will not be affected by this:
LineageOS (I use this one)
Graphene OS
Functionally they are virtually identical to stock Android. Android began as an open-source project, and these versions are built off of that.
Fuck Google.
for those like me who cannot install alternative android forks on their phone because the phone in question is thoroughly unrootable, I would recommend downloading anyapk on your phone while you still can. In their own words:
anyapk is a lightweight Android application installer that bypasses Google's developer verification requirements by using local ADB (Android Debug Bridge) connections. Smoothly install any APK file on your device without restrictions, gatekeepers, or corporate approval.
If you're reading this after Google's lockdown date and are unable to install anyapk the regular way, there is a method outlined on the github linked above which tells you how to install anyapk on your phone by plugging it into a computer with ADB installed on it. Once you have anyapk on your phone, you will not have to do that ever again (unless you delete anyapk off your phone)

From September 2026, all apps, including those outside the Play Store, must come from verified developers.
No more anonymous sideloads. No quick comebacks for malware gangs.

[Description for the second image: a post from jrepin that reads:
"Sideloading" is the rentseeker word for "being able to run software of your choosing on a computing device you purchased". There is no reasonable case for an operating system developer having a say over what programs you run on your hardware.

The new Dorian Electra self-titled is really interesting to me. I don't think I love it. Don't know if I'll come back to it. But it's interesting in the context of the three prior releases.
I love both My Agenda and Fanfare. Don't really go back to Flamboyant. But there is a sort of theme around all three of them. And that's a big plus for me! They all at least feel cohesive. Each album is dynamic, but every song on each album feels like it belongs.
Self-titled doesn't really have anything that I love about a Dorian Electra album? Yes all The covers have a similar mood put onto them. But the songs being covered are super popular with conventional song structures. So even though the covers have a moody Dorian Electra flare, it feels like a crazy stripped back version of Dorian Electra. And maybe there is a theme that brings all of the songs together, but I don't really see one.
Additionally people on twitter were posting about the album as if Dorian had done something heinous for releasing a covers album. So. Idk. Maybe this is a good way to keep the rent down (so to speak).

Context for other users:
On the morning of April 7, 2026, a fire was started at the Kimberly-Clark Distribution Center in Ontario, California. It escalated to a six-alarm fire and took nearly twelve hours to extinguish. The facility was completely destroyed and declared a "total loss". There were no injuries or deaths. An employee who was working in the warehouse is accused of arson.
Authorities stated that the employee had shared videos of himself starting the fire on Facebook, saying "all you had to do was pay us enough to live" and "there goes your inventory" while lighting pallets of toilet paper ablaze.
ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS PAY US ENOUGH TO LIVE
No injuries. No deaths. This was a protest fire. This is why unions are important, to prevent frustrations like these, to ensure people are paid enough to live.
