“I’m fine,” Harley said as she rose her head from where it had been tucked in her hands. “I’m not crying, just realizing how horrible of a foster mom I am.” She groaned, eyeing the small overexcited puppy at her feet. “I was talked into taking him after I said I wanted to get one, but it won’t stop running around, and it cries at night, plus it gets sick, and I can’t go to the bathroom in peace.” Her head shook as she sighed. “I don’t know what I was thinking, I can barely take care of myself.” After she groaned, her wide eyes turned to the person. “Do you want a dog?”
Aaron shook his head at her offer, giving her a small smile. "No, even if it's cute I would be an awful owner," he explained, looking at the dog and then back at Harley. "I don't think you are an awful foster mom. It's a puppy, it has a lot of energy and that's why he runs around. Maybe at night, he doesn't like being alone." He just assumed the previous information based on the few episodes of Dog Whisperer he had seen. "Have you talked to the vet? Maybe he could give you some tips or recommendations."
