Jun Man- project statement  People use AI in different fields in modern life, and I figured out I can train the AI to learn my drawing style and the color theme that I love to use. Then, AI can copy my drawing style and different color themes from my paintings to remake photograph. And somehow, I felt that  is interesting to see “me” drawing and painting all the buildings of my school, where I study for past four years. Alought, AI use my drawing and painting style to make these pictures, it still keeps most shapes of the building. So, my next step is that i want to train AI to connect with something that have more Chinese style. And then, make these photographs to abstrast art  pieces.

  In this article, I get to know more about AI. I think it is a really interesting idea that, " To understand why our human sense of self is so bound up with the history of computers, it’s important to realize that computers used to be human.” in the article, authors mention about computer use to be human. this idea kind inspired me that human try to create AI, not only is discovering unknown world, but also it is adiscovery of origins of human.

Final project Proposal

For my final project, I want to do video that combine processing and isadora. First, I want to use processing coding that I learned from other class this term to create effect for video, I will record the video I made and put in isadora. Second I want to use isadora to create interactive effect that i learned from ARTD 410 for the video. So eventually, it will be a interactive video that created on both processing and isadroa.

TransformingMirrors

“After I read this article, I found out a really interesting relationship betweeen spectator and artists. In the article, it mentions that when artists interact to audiences with their works, it actually is a “mechanism” that artists or creators sharing their experience to audiences. However, this kind of sharing is not unilateral decision. When spectators look at those works, they can show their observations to creators, and creators can reponses to them. This is whole point of interactive art. 

And Also, in the article, author describes navigable structures that is really interest me. Especially when autor talk about Jeffrey shaw’s work The Legible City that is mind blowing. Spectator can use”stationary bicycle to navigable through computor generated, and then  poject city on a big video screen. Then transforming street to text. This is rally cool interactive work for me.
