Every night, I listen to my children shiver under thin blankets, and I hold them close, trying to give them some warmthā¦ but the cold is stronger than all of us.
Since we lost our home, this worn-out tent is all we have.
The wind strikes it every night as if trying to tear away what little is left of our lives.
My husband grows weaker day by day, and I have nothing but a heart that breaks for all of them.

For the past two days, the storm has pushed families in Gaza into conditions that are impossible to imagine.
Our tents have flooded, our bedding is soaked, and the cold rain hasnāt stopped for a moment. Many families no longer have a place to stayā¦ and mine is one of them.
Iām a child, and all I know right now is that we spend long hours under the rain, just trying to find a dry spot to rest. I see the exhaustion in my familyās eyes, and I feel helpless, because we have nothing to do but wait for the storm to endā¦ or for someone to reach out and help us.
My family is fighting hard to keep going, and any support could mean so much to us in these painful moments.

What I Would Do With The Batfam If I Were In Charge of The DCU Films
Disclaimer: I personally find it quite boring when films - especially live action projects - are just scene for scene copies of comic books, so whilst this will be inspired by canon, I will be going rogue a bit, because Iād want to see something new
Adding in a cut because it gets long
Superman: you know it, you love it
Supergirl: Kara, my beloved
Wonder Woman: centred around Diana (obviously), but would also give Donna Troy an origin story (thatās a surprise tool which will help us later). It is very important to me that this is a modern day Wonder Woman story and that Steve Trevor does not feature at all. It is also very important that Tom King is allowed nowhere near the writing process.
Superman 2: we all know this is gonna be Lex Luthor and Braniac. At some point towards the end of the film, we would see Lex experimenting with DNA at Cadmus, telling the scientists to try mixing āitā with a bit of his own DNA. Key takeaway in my DCU would be an upcoming threat which is yet again too big for Clark to take on his own, and he is adamant he is not going to Luthor again. However, thankfully he arrives at work to be given a story to write on Wonder Woman.
Trinity: crucially not yet the Justice League. This would be our introduction to Bruce Wayne. It would start with a threat of some kind (idk yet) with Clark and Diana joining together to fight it. However, it becomes clear that they cannot fight it alone, and the threat is moving towards Gotham. Cue Lois Lane telling Clark about rumours sheās been investigating about a vigilante figure in Gotham, sometimes called The Bat, sometimes The Dark Knight, etc. Both Clark and Diana head into Gotham to see if they can get assistance from this Batman. Clark is the first to find something, but we cut to black and switch back to Dianaās POV, when she finally finds Batman. We would be introduced to a Bruce who seems very much like all the Batmen weāve seen before: brooding, violent (he knows sheās an Amazon), works alone. Eventually Diana gets the lasso on him and Bruce dodges her questions, but finally acquiesces that theyāre on the same side. Diana is a little untrusting still, but is intrigued if nothing else. She calls to Clark to tell him that she found the Batman. Clark doesnāt reply. Diana looks back to Bruce, whom we expect to have disappeared, but instead heās there smiling. Finally, we cut to Clark who is looking confused as fuck whilst a kid dressed like a traffic light rants at him about the problems heās having after being benched by Bruce following the Two Face incident. This doesnāt reach a conclusion before Bruce and Diana arrive, Dick sasses Bruce and leaves, making a comment about having a thing with Batgirl anyway. Bruce agrees to join up and help them with whatever the Big Bad is. The ongoing theme of the film would be Bruceās humanity: whilst Clark declares his humanity, Bruceās is literal. He is not the weird Alpha Male, but a single dad who never got over his parentsā death. Over the course of the film, Bruceās humanity would be their greatest asset, and would be shown to balance out the Trinity. At some point, there would be a scene of Clark and Dick having a heart-to-heart, Dick explaining that he has been a vigilante since he was a kid, and heās not just a sidekick (there would also be some exposition about the deaths of the Wayneās and the Graysons), leading Clark to explain the Nightwing story (Kara told him about it). Anyway, the big fight happens at the end, and they defeat the Big Bad with the power of friendship. Dick also shows up again, and has a role in the fight in protecting some civilians caught in the crossfire - at some point, it looks like Dick wonāt be enough, but Donna arrives to give him a hand. At the end, the group would decide to become a team, but suggest that they are open to more help. Clark offers Dick a place on this team, but Dick turns him down, stating that he has his own idea, as the camera pans to Donna and the images on the Batcomputer of a number of child sidekicks. The film finally ends with the Trinity going back to their new normal. The last scene of the film is Batman in Gotham. We see a tv screen which tells us about Nightwing setting up in Bludhaven, and finally Bruce turns the corner to see a kid stealing the tyres from the Batmobile.
Cue a number of Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Flash, etc projects here.
Titans movie. Maybe a Deathstroke story, to go back to their origins?
Batman 2: this film is all about grief, and (if not moving on from it) then coming out of the other side. The story focuses on Bruce, the death of the Waynes (as Bruceās inspiration), Jasonās death which haunts the narrative, and Barbaraās grief at losing Batgirl. It opens with the news reporting on the death of Jason Todd, adopted son of Bruce Wayne, as well as the disappearances of both Robin and Batgirl. The Joker should not be seen at all in the film. We want to see Dick sending Bruceās calls to voicemail. Bruce is isolated, and violent. The big bad of the film would be Scarecrow, and the Fear Toxin would be used to show Bruceās grief. Enter Tim Drake, fresh from bothering Dick Grayson, and ready to force his way into being Robin. Alfred, at some point, needs to make a speech about Jason being a āgood soldierā. Throughout the film, we will see Bruceās struggle to move on from Jasonās death, and also Timās position as a bit of an outsider given that he has parents (absent but not abusive), and having to fill both Dick and Jasonās shoes (though itās also crucial that Tim canāt be too nice about Jason. Also important that heās not a weak little wet kitten, but the badass we all know and love. I also want to see some civilian Tim, with actual friends because fuck Fanon Tim Drake). Dick needs to be increasingly present towards the end, with the train surfing scene making an appearance at some point, reaffirming Tim as his little brother. Also crucial in the narrative is the rise of Oracle - Barbara needs to be a heavy hitter in this. The story ultimately ends with the news announcing the return of Robin, before we cut to a grave at night in the rain.
Birds of Prey tv show
Young Justice 98 tv show. At some point in the tv show, we need the Drakes to die.
Batgirls project: idk what exactly, yet, but maybe a No Manās Land vibe to it, with Oracle, Cass reinventing the Batgirl mantle, and Stephanie choosing to be a hero (Iād like to see a parallel with Babs there)
Batman 3: broadly follows UTRH. However, the animated film is a really good adaptation, so weāre gonna change it up a little with this one. Bruce is in a good position at the start. He and Tim have a great partnership, Dick is coming around again, Oracle is thriving, we get hints of the Justice League forming, and we see some of his relationship with Selina taking shape. Tim also has a girlfriend in Stephanie Brown. However, as we know, there is an upset in the criminal underground, and a new player is starting to emerge out of Crime Alley, calling himself the Red Hood. Bruce is contemplative, and eventually lets on to Dick, Tim, and Barbara about who The Red Hood was, back in the day. We also see Jim Gordon a fair bit here. Further upset comes with the arrival of Damian Al Ghul Wayne, who is full of the League of Assassinās violence, and has it out for Tim, who is low-key fighting a two-front war here. Throughout the course of the film, Damian and Jason are contrasted: both are Batmanās sons, both have League training, but whilst Jason rejects the No Kill Rule and desperately wants the love of his father, Damian learns to grow from his past and choose his own future. Jason is a villain in that he is Batmanās foil, but I donāt want to be too unsympathetic, as I wouldnāt have Jason as a psychopathic villain long-term, as pre-crisis. Jasonās end would be left ambiguous on purpose, as in the end of the comics. The main focus would be on family ties, and exploring the No Kill Rule.
Justice League: finally a Justice League film! Darkseid is the main villain, and it ends with the āDeathā of Batman.
Batman and Robin tv show: Dickās Batman run. Maybe introduce the Court of Owls here?
Red Robin: does what it says on the tin.
Outlaws tv show: Jasonās redemption-ish arc. Would probably include Roy, though I may swap Kori out for Artemis as I donāt think the comics do Kori justice here, and this would introduce the All-Caste!
Not Batfam related at all, but itās important that you know Iād also do a Justice League Dark film.
