                “   i’m not  –   ”   a long  PAUSE  from the blonde,  and noora breaks out from her frozen state only to catch sana’s facial expression.  uh-oh,  she thinks;  suddenly,  noora remembers her last words to her:   please don’t be mad at me.  her head whips to the covered girl,  but she steps easily with him.  it feels natural to her,  as if this was where the two of them were meant to be.

                        she’s  HESITANT  –  but as they turn away,  blue eyes drift up to look into his familiar dark hues.    “   william,   ”   noora says in the same tone as he’s speaking.  the blonde can’t deny how  …  her heart is beating faster,  how she’s been away from him for so long,  and she wonders why  …  why wasn’t she just  BRAVE  enough to email him herself.   be brave,  vær modig.  so she is;  she walks further way from prying eyes,  pulling him gently along with her,  her other hand just brushing on the top of his knuckles.  it’s so gentle,  so  RIGHT.    “   i didn’t  –  i didn’t send any email.  i  wish  i  —  ”   she cuts herself off,  biting at her lip.   “  i didn’t send it,  whatever it said.   ”

        ❝   shall  we  walk ?    ❞   long looks of weakened contemplation ; william was far from understanding what was going on. he wants so badly to pull her away from all of this, even for a moment. just away so they can have more space to talk about ... the situation. why, why ... why does he begin to feel a hint of dread ? 

            she will ALWAYS  have a way of taking his focus , she can make him feel like it’s only the two of them in a room. noora can do a lot of things , and what was truthfully there in the moment, was the fact she was able to make him fly out to oslo.  a lot of things pile up in his mind when she says she didn’t send it. does she love him, then ? the first hit, he feels. because william loves her so much. thats why he’s shown. the effort in his closeness , that was everything natural about it all.     ❝  i  love  you ,  and  if  you  love  me ...  come  to  oslo. you did not send it, then ?  ❞   you do not love me, then ?

        all noora had wanted was to  TALK  to sana.  but the girl had been avoiding,  avoiding,  avoiding;  it all blew up  !  it was to be expected,  she thinks  –  a long way coming.  either way,  it was a damn  GOOD  thing that eva had the party,  chris and the girls planned the  new buss.  now they could all simply enjoy being together,  with the people who they cared about more.

        then the car pulls up,  he steps out  –  and  EVERYTHING ELSE  blurs to grey.  the blonde is paralyzed to the spot,  even sana is beginning to disappear from her sight as they stand in an all too familiar position.  her head shakes,  get  AHOLD  of yourself,  noora  !  and though her heart is beating hard,  as if it wants to jump out again,  as it always did when it came to  him,  she manages to speak in a steady voice.                 “   —  what  EMAIL  ?     ”

                         ❝     WILL  you   pretend  now ?   ❞    he was never more sure than he was now, in that moment. she made his heart pick up. she always had. he wouldn’t call her, he wanted to surprise her. and it seems as though he had SURPRISED more than just noora, based on the reaction. based on the one place he felt so out of place. he waits for everyone to return to their get together, placing his hand carefully on her elbow and turning to the side so they aren’t exactly the center of attention. 

    a puzzled expression is all that is readable on his features. the more he looks into her eyes, the more he’s unable to really understand. her look of explicit surprise would now take him off guard. he hopes , he hopes and hopes he hasn’t made a fool of himself. oh but he has.  ❝     - noora ,   ❞

                                     there was nothing stopping him from leaving now. he shows up unattended to chris’ home,  the first flight to norway.  surely those several text messages have meant something. text messages. calls. the email. william remembers how instantly he’d been awoken , more than what coffee could do. ( more than the hangover from last night )  a collection of events couldn’t even  calm down the anxiousness flooding his emotions as the key switched the engine off.
