anyway, if you actually read my account beyond one post, you’d know the one thing i consistently centre everything on is pure awareness. that has never changed.

my point about explanations “not mattering” isn’t confusion, it’s the opposite. it’s recognising that different frameworks are just different lenses pointing to the same underlying thing.

LOA, non-duality, analogies, whatever else people use, they are all attempts to describe or approach the same core idea. i’m not mixing them randomly. i’m using whatever language helps the person asking the question understand what’s being pointed to.

and yes, LOA and non-duality have different premises. i’ve never denied that. but they both, in their own ways, still point back to awareness, identity, and the relationship between what you take yourself to be and what you experience. that’s the part that matters.

i’m not telling people to follow all frameworks at once. i literally say the opposite. take what resonates, leave what doesn’t. if one framework works for you, stick with it.

the issue i see is people getting stuck thinking the framework itself is what does the work, when it’s actually what the framework is pointing you towards. that’s what i’m simplifying.

so no, it’s not a lack of understanding. it’s understanding enough to not get attached to the packaging.

i’m definitely not the one who’s confused.

Ok but moment of silence for Katherine from Haunted Hotel. Your brother dies via…that, you have to go to therapy for it, you’re dealing with working through the pain while being a single mother. Eventually you’re somewhat processing the grief and you learn your brother left his business to you in his will so you move into the hotel, there’s a bunch of murderous ghosts, and then your brother shows up like “heyyy, wanna talk about my death? I don’t remember it at all, bummer. So, how’d I die? :3” POOR KATHERINE MY GOODNESS

I genuinely would MUCH rather see Ron, Kathy's ex and the kids dad, make an appearance next season then the nameless priest.

I feel like it's one of those things where people forget the Freelings are the main characters, and bringing Ron in would be fascinating. Kathy still has clear unresolved issues with her marriage, Esther tries and tries to get her dad's attention and is ignored, and while we don't know Ben's feelings in depth, one must assume it's complex. And of course Nathen probably hates the guy who treated his sister so badly. So I want Ron to show up and fuck around and everyone get some good catharsis of kicking his ass out.

And yes, of course Abbadon can get in on it because that's his weird humans he chose over power and this guy upsets them all so is murder isn't an option maybe maiming is at least on the table
