Anon on their 8th rewatch: what’s up with this idea Katherine has of the ghosts and paranormal entities “encouraging” Esther’s worse habits (ie - cheating, scheming, lying, arguably witchcraft) when it seems like she’d still be doing all the same stuff anyways?

Before I found out he was possessed, my first impression of Abaddon was that he was a normal edgy kid that's involved in occult stuff and that I'd hate his character. Also, I thought he was around Ben's age so I was shocked to discover that his host body was 9.

with the way the fandom is right now it's making me not want to be in the fandom or even watch the next season when it comes out, i can't even recommend the show to other people with the way things are. i honestly think the fandom is losing popularity because of all the proshippers and straight up creeps.

I honestly thought Abaddon was a girl when I first saw him, I had only seen photos of him when the show started to take off and even then it was only from the chest up

It wasn't until I started watching the show that I realized he was a guy

I genuinely would MUCH rather see Ron, Kathy's ex and the kids dad, make an appearance next season then the nameless priest.

I feel like it's one of those things where people forget the Freelings are the main characters, and bringing Ron in would be fascinating. Kathy still has clear unresolved issues with her marriage, Esther tries and tries to get her dad's attention and is ignored, and while we don't know Ben's feelings in depth, one must assume it's complex. And of course Nathen probably hates the guy who treated his sister so badly. So I want Ron to show up and fuck around and everyone get some good catharsis of kicking his ass out.

And yes, of course Abbadon can get in on it because that's his weird humans he chose over power and this guy upsets them all so is murder isn't an option maybe maiming is at least on the table

ok blog owner cameo i would like to add onto this myself. in ep7 we know dad ben is part of ben's personality which if i had to guess is directly because of ron. + hes the older one of the two and a lot of the time older siblings get kinda forced into that role

seven deadly bens was my favorite episode, i get why people hate it cuz i can see how it’d make some people uncomfortable but i thought it was really fun and i like how it explored kathrine and ben’s dynamic the uncomfortable parts of it didn’t really affect me I guess because I’ve seen a lot worse and also they’re cartoon characters so it’s like way different than icarly or whatever

I really really do not like Abaddon. Its mostly because of how much people glaze him and overlook other characters just to water them down to their relationship with him. Most Abaddon glazers only see Esther as Abaddons best friend rather than an actual person and an interesting character, they make Katherine look like a complete psycho because she doesn't care about him as much as she cares about her REAL KIDS and they demonatize her because she "abused and hurt" their skrunkly silly little cutie patootie baby boi, they just do not care about the other characters. I don't know I guess some people in this fandom hate women. Especially Katherine and Annabelle. Katherine is not a bad person for being angry and frustrated with the way Abaddon acts she's a struggling mother with a completely fucked up hotel she has to run and Abaddon just causes her more stress and I just hate how people make her out to be the villain of the story.

And also, SHE'S THE MAIN CHARACTER NOT ABADDON, HE BARELY GETS SCREENTIME IF YOU REALLY THINK ABOUT IT.

I just hate how much people ignore other characters just to make Abaddon seem like he's the most important and most amazing and fantastic one but he's just really fucking annoying to be completely honest.
