ABADDON. "You've been very entertaining, my dear. But I don't need your permission. Abaddon takes what she wants. And right now, she wants everything."

he felt like he was in denial. even with lucifer swallowed up whole, gone from their sight, it felt too surreal to instill any real sense of victory. his fingers subconsciously reached for sam’s wrist, as they both clung to each other in this huge moment. it took a while until he realized abaddon was talking to him, head wheeling slowly as disbelief reigned in the creases of his face. “yeah,” he breathed out, a trying twitch at the corners of his mouth, a gaze of awe finding sam next, in deafening silence.

now was his only shot, sam pulled his gun from his waist and pointed it at abaddon, taking a deep breath. “lucifer was right about one thing. i can’t let you walk out of here, alive. i just can’t. after everything you’ve done and everything you’re going to do. we were supposed to stop you, a long time ago. you wormed your way in with dean, but it never worked on me.” he stepped forward with the gun in his hand, inching abaddon closer to the hole in the ground. “if we get rid of lucifer, and don’t get rid of you, you’ll just replace him. you’ll just be ten times worse than him, and i can’t let that happen.” he shook his head, taking a deep breath. pulling back on the safety, he fired off a round of bullets into her, hoping it would be enough to send her tumbling back into the hole. @abaddxns​ @carriesheavens​

“Sam, now,” she trailed off, putting her hands up cautiously, “we both know that’s not true. When have I hurt your brother? When have I ever manifested myself worse than Lucifer?” As he stepped closer, Abaddon grabbed onto Dean’s arm, the force from the bullets causing her to draw him in front of her, shielding her partly. She didn’t want to hurt Dean, she was just thinking about protecting herself. Although, her fingers slipped from around him, and she toppled backwards, into the vortex, a piercing scream sounding, and fading, as she fell all the way down, where she would be kept prisoner for Lucifer. Trusting Dean had not been a mistake, but underestimating his brother, for sure, was. @carriesheavens​ @ofplaidiisms​

the bigger the gap stretched, the noisier the winds around them, and the bigger the unsettling feeling churning through his stomach. lucifer’s words were a buzz fading in the background as the adrenaline of anticipation took over. “abaddon,” he called out, head turning toward her. “you better come to this side, unless you’d like to be in that thing’s path when it swallows sympathy for the devil up.” it felt ridiculous to be apparently looking out for her, but he only saw it as fairness for a job well done and help much needed. “suck it, you whiny bitch,” he spat toward lucifer. “ain’t got no one to blame but yourself for thinkin’ you could mess around with us and end up on the winnin’ side. and send a postcard from hell to dominic for stabbin’ you in the back. make sure it says ‘thanks, my people skills suck ass’.”

lucifer was right about one thing, sam didn’t plan on letting abaddon leave this building alive. sure, she’d been helpful, but that didn’t cancel all of the terrible shit she had done. she was too close to dean, she couldn’t be trusted. the only reason dean had ever gotten the mark of cain was to kill her, and she was still here. if she couldn’t end her permamently, she could send her to an eternity in hell with the devil. he’d have to wait it out, until she was close enough that the plan would work. he wouldn’t fail. he’d send lucifer and abaddon straight to the deepest pits of hell. the gun in his waistband weighed heavy, loaded with enough bullets to send her flying into the hole when she least expected it. the hole was now full open, whipping violent winds around them as it started to pull lucifer towards the opening with it’s inescapable force. be was already unsteady on his feet because of the blood loss, so when the ground rumbled below his feet, he reached out for deans sleeve to keep himself on his feet. @carriesheavens​ @abaddxns​

She was strong, still standing her ground, but she could hear Dean over the roar of the winds, drowning out Lucifer. She went over to Dean, steading herself on his arm as she did the smallest of stumbles, before letting go and staying up straight. As the hole swallowed up Lucifer, she breathed out a sigh of relief, a triumphant smile on her face as she turned towards Dean. “And look, the Winchesters have done it again.” @luclferiisms​ @carriesheavens​ @ofplaidiisms​

lucifer couldn’t see what it was in deans hand, but when sam threw it on the floor it became very clear what there plan was, and the expression on his face turned to anger, mixed with some fear. they actually had a plan, and a key to the cage, and lucifer couldn’t back there with only a half crazy brother for company. “how did you get a hold of those?” lucifer was screwed. he was trapped in this stupid circle of hoiy oil. there was no way out. “abaddon, i thought were you better than this!” he started, turning to her again. “i made you, you’d be nothing without me, and this is how you repay me, you traitor! siding with the winchesters, when you know they’ll turn around and stab you in the back at the first chance!” he was yelling now, over the sound of the earth crumbling beneath them and opening a hole in the floor, wind whipping up around them. “and you, stupid winchesters-” he span to face the brothers again, eyes glowing red but powers trapped by the circle of flames. “you think this is over?! you think this is ever over?! i escaped that damn cage twice already, and i’ll do it again! then i’ll make death seem like a walk in the park compared to what i’ll to do you! when i got into your head, sam, that was nothing! i’ll get into your head and i’ll drive you insane! i’ll ruin your life until you come to and bag me to make it stop! think about it, sam! are you strong enough to take all of that again?!” @abaddxns​ @carriesheavens​

he followed sam closely, fighting the urge of doing what he’d always done – leap in, take it all on himself, and shoulder the burden. anything for his brother to be good, and comfortable, and safe. but this, in itself, was good for him. or it could be. that was the debacle inside. he heaved a sigh as abaddon assumed her real vessel again, feeling a surge of adrenaline and anticipation as the gap opened by the rings began to whir around them. there was a despair in lucifer than brought him infinite amounts of satisfaction. “don’t listen to him, sammy,” he yelled out, over the noises whipping the air. “he’s tryin’ to bag in one last victory before he gets fedex’ed into hell. who knew the devil would be a sore loser?” even though it was true lucifer had indeed escaped before, it didn’t mean it would happen again. not in their lifetime, at least. it couldn’t. dean refused to let that happen.

sam was frozen in fear, staring down at the hole beneath their feet as it started to grow bigger and bigger. the last time, at stull cemetery, he’d thrown himself into the hole, to save dean, to save everyone. seeing it again, knowing what was beneath the darkness, sent ice cold tendrils of fear straight through his heart. he looked up from it, into the fiery red eyes of lucifer, and it felt like he were staring right into his soul. sam had to be strong, if he let lucifers words get into his head, it would break him, and he couldn’t afford to break right now. not when so much was at cost. hearing deans voice from behind, he turned his head toward him and nodded, taking a few steps back and stumbling over his own feet slightly. he wanted as far away from the hole as possible. but if lucifer was right, if once this was all over, that.. connection between them was still there, then sam would accept it. he’d deal with a lifetime of insanity, if it meant that the rest of the world could be safe from the devil. @abaddxns​ @carriesheavens​

Lucifer’s comments only made her sigh, lips pressing together in sheer annoyance as he went on with the temper tantrum. He was desperate, that was easy to see. The hole seemed to be getting closer and closer to Lucifer, and Abaddon kept her distance, her face calm as she had no idea what was coming for her and that Lucifer’s words would ring very true in a few minutes. “This is fun,” a smug smirk stayed on her lips, eyes watching Lucifer’s face as the hole inched closer. @luclferiisms​ @carriesheavens​ @ofplaidiisms​

they had been fast enough. somehow, they had managed to get this far, thanks to an unexpectedly well-coordinated teamwork. if they made it through this, he’d marvel at the odds later. right now, he couldn’t afford letting this small victory derail him. he sighed in relief as abaddon’s act fell and the spell began to falter. it made it easier to realize she wasn’t really lisa. slowly moving to sam’s side, he gave his brother’s back a soft tap. you did good, sammy. you’re doing good. hang in there. “guess you could say she picked the lesser of two devils,” he quipped, flashing a dry, brief smile toward abaddon. “yeah. maybe we can’t kill you. for now. so we’ll be keepin’ you busy til we can.” he removed his fist from his jacket pocket, opening his palm and letting the four horsemen rings glue themselves together. with a stiff breath, he turned toward sam, silently wondering if he wanted to be the one to do this, knowing his brother would be able to read his mind.

when dean turned towards him, rings laid in his palm, he knew what his brother was asking from him. he was giving him the reigns, letting him finally end this thing. reaching out, he took the rings and held them in his palm, giving dean a nod and a grateful smile. “let’s do it.” he said, taking in a confident breath. stepping out from behind the protection of his brother, he faced lucifer one on one for the first time in a long time. and for the last time. he threw the rings down on the floor, just outside of the circle of holy oil. close enough for it to suck lucifer in. “bvtmon tabges babalon.” he recited the enochian phrase needed to open the door to the cage, and immediately took a step back when he felt the ground beneath him start to rumble. @abaddxns​ @carriesheavens​

Abaddon simply tilted her head at Lucifer, her eyes rolling as she still had her hands up, on guard, the ends of her hair still the red color that gave away that she wasn’t Lisa. The spell was fading, and she let it, as she changed into her previous form, a little sigh of tiredness leaving her as Sam started to speak, stumbling backwards at the force of the ground before steadying herself quickly again. “Of course I would side with these boys--it’s called strategy. sam instinctively wanted to pull his brother back when he stepped closer to lucifer, but he knew his brother could handle himself, and although this had happened sooner than expected, they were well prepared. every muscle in him was tense, on edge and ready to go whenever dean gave them the instruction. sam had to move fast, or as fast as he could with one arm immobilised. when he gave them the go ahead, he moved quickly, using his teeth to pop the lid on the bottle of holy oil, moving towards lucifer. he didn’t want to be anywhere near him, but with abaddon immobilising him, he knew he was safe, so he drew the holy oil circle as quickly as possible. @carriesheavens​ @abaddxns​

As soon as Dean had said the word, she had immobilized Lucifer, hands out as she directed her power at the Devil. She was doing it with all of her might, hoping that Sam and Dean would do what they needed to do before this whole thing imploded and she ran out of juice. She took a deep breath, a relieved sigh when the circle was inscribed, letting go as the holy oil secured the Devil in it. It would hold him for at least a bit, enough for her to recharge if she needed to, in case the boys were still slow. “Well, that worked out,” she tilted her head, admiring the handiwork for a second, the edges of her hair flaring crimson, spell faltering with all the energy she expended. @luclferiisms​ @carriesheavens​ @ofplaidiisms​

“listen, sweetie. i might just end up killing you anyway, if you don’t shut up and stop whining.” lucifer said, placing his fingers on his lips as he walked over to the window and looked at sam and dean. if what dominic had said was true, and they were attempting some mutany, then lucifer would have to act fast to stop them. “bloody dominic. absolutely useless.” it looked like he would have to go solo. “okay, you. over here, with hem.” he marched over to lisa and grabbed her arm pulling her across to the other side of the room. @carriesheavens​ @abaddxns​

of course sam wasn’t good. neither of them were. their plan had been shabby to begin with; now, it was even worse. but, hey… to hell with it, right? he simply gave a pat to sam’s shoulder and, after drawing in a mighty breath, exited the car, a flask of holy oil tucked away inside his jacket. he wanted to step in first, if only out of protectiveness. once face to face with lucifer and abaddon, he couldn’t not freeze for a moment at her uncanny (and uncomfortable) resemblance to lisa. “hey, lis,” he said, purposely stepping in front of sam, “everything will be alright. just hang in there.” not yet. keep playing the role.

sam hated being face to face with lucifer again, but he had to put on a brave face. if lucifer even caught a sniff of him being nervous, he would use it against him. however lucifer was like a bloodhound, and the sight of sams injured shoulder was sure to amuse him. he stayed behind dean, looking over at abaddon. he had to admit, it was a good plan on her part. didn’t make him like her anymore. “what do you want, lucifer? what’s your new grand plan?” he asked him, one hand against his injured shoulder as he tried not to wince in pain. @abaddxns​ @carriesheavens​

She pressed her lips together to remain silent when she was threatened by Lucifer, exchanging glances with Dean and nodding in understanding. “Okay, Dean, I trust you.” She stayed silent, sure not to make any sudden movements to blow her cover. It was like all of them were waiting for Lucifer to act, just waiting for Lucifer to do something rash so that they could unleash their plan of putting him away far, far, back into the cage.

the past 24 hours had been as bad as anything could get. ever since he’d returned to mystic falls, everything had been a race with time, starting with driving to get gen, having to deal with her compulsion, and then returning to the town – to have a showdown against the devil too, nonetheless. lucky for them, dominic’s endeavors had meant a longer time to return to mystic falls, which left room for a little bit of preparation, such as tending to sam’s gunshot wound. the one thing that really sucked was how dominic’s dickish move had left them without the cover of a prepared holy oil circle. no matter. they’d figure it all out… right? they could just draw it right there, while abaddon kept lucifer immobilized (or tried to). pulling over the car, he caught a brief glimpse of dominic flashing away. “son of a bitch…” he muttered, glancing over to sam. “kinda have a feeling we won’t get the surprise element on this one.” had abaddon’s cloaking worked? only one way to find out. he turned briefly toward sam, trying to pile up some courage, something to tend to his nerves. “you good?” he questioned, swallowing a large lump.

sam was in pain, dosed up on painkillers, and terrified out of his mind. this was all happened way too fast, and they were not prepared. all they could do was hope that this was going to work. they pulled up outside, and sam glanced up at the building, taking a deep breath. he was about to come face to face with lucifer again, and he would never be ready for that. “i’m good.” he responded, before he opened the door and climbed out of the impala. @abaddxns @carriesheavens

After Dominic had run away like the coward he was, Abaddon at Lisa had decided it was a good time to go into dramatics, pleading and crying as she cowered before Lucifer. “Please, please--I have nothing you want from me. I’m literally human, I can’t do anything to you. Or for you. I’m not special. I just have a kid at home, that’s all. I don’t think there’s anything I can do for you. There is nothing that Dean wants from me, either. Or Sam. I’m useless.”

As soon as Lucifer showed up, Dominic went straight into focused deal mode. ‘‘He wants you.’‘ Dominic thought to answer the question for Lucifer. ‘‘But he’s not getting you till I get what I want because he owes me too.’‘ He grabbed a tighter hold of Lisa, really thought he could bargain with Lucifer, again. ‘’But he doesn’t really need you cause I have something better.’’ Dominic thought the information he had was better than Lisa. ‘’I know you want Sam to say yes to being your vessel or whatever and I know how you can get him to do it cause I did what you said, I got creative, kinda stole Gen from him and while doing that, I found out she’s pregnant.’’

“hey look, i can talk without my lips moving.” lucifer responded when dominic decided to answer the question for him, essentially stealing his spotlight. “owe you? what is it exactly that you think i owe you? you’ve done nothing but becomes a thorn in my side. you’re like an STI, you fuck around once, and it sticks to you, like a disease. domorrhea? domydia? eh, it could use some work.” the young vampire really had the audacity to think he could demand anything from the devil, he’d proved to him time and time again that he could smite him in seconds flat if he truly desired. the news of the arrival of a new winchester though, that was definitely interesting. “sam’s having a baby? aw, i’m almost proud. i wonder if it’ll call me papa.” he said, a small pout tugging at his lips. “anyway, what am i supposed to do with this? sam’s made it perfectly clear that even if i do get back in there, he’s just gonna scratch and claw his way out, and that’s so tedious. i’ve decided that if i can’t have him, then i’m just going to kill him. and how do you get to a sam, you find a dean, and you find a dean, by finding the delicious lady he loves.” whilst speaking, lucifer had stepped closer to lisa and was now stood before her, a gentle finger underneath her chin. “i see why he likes you. you’ve got a definite.. spark.”

Her ears perked up at the news that Sam Winchester’s beloved was with child, her eyebrows raising in amusement. Of course, Dean hadn’t told her that part, but it might be useful. The banter between the two was expected, and for this part, she just kept the same afraid, feeble expression on Lisa’s face. It was pretty easy, she had a naturally sweet face. As Lucifer stepped closer to her, Abaddon took a step back, flinching at his touch. She probably would have even if she wasn’t pretending to be Lisa--there was something about the man that was just inherently uncomfortable. “Don’t hurt Dean,” she swallowed the lump in her throat, attempting for just a bit of bravery as even Lisa should know it’s stupid to run from the Devil.

He began working on the ritual to summon Lucifer. He still kinda expected Lisa to make a run for it or at least try something since he wasn’t actually keeping ahold of her which to him was kinda odd but then he just imagined, she might be afraid to do anything. But he continued doing what he needed to do. Once he had set up the ingredients, he began speaking the worlds like he had done last time he summoned lucifer and when he was finished speaking, he waited, meanwhile grabbing ahold of Lisa, just to keep her close, in-case Lucifer wanted to snatch her, not that he couldn’t just do that as soon as he showed up. Now all  they had to do was wait.

lucifer was in the middle of a very important business meeting, which included lots of dollar bills and sequins in places he’d never seen them before, so he almost wanted to be mad that all of a sudden he was summoned. however, when he glanced around and saw dominic, and most importantly, lisa, it quickly quelled his anger. “good job. it only took you about fifteen years.” he said in a droll tone, stepping over the bowl of ingredients at his feet. “you owe me fifteen dollars in one dollar bills, by the way.” he directed at dominic, before turning his gaze towards lisa. lucifer straightened out the lepel of the collar of his shirt, plastering a small on his face. “i believe we’ve yet to meet, but i’m sure you’ve heard a lot about me.”

‘Lisa’ watched in horror as Dominic grabbed her, swallowing a lump in her throat as Lucifer, the actual Devil, was summoned. Abaddon held her breath as Lucifer appeared in front of them, hoping that the spell was working and that she wouldn’t slip into her redheaded meatsuit at any moment. Abaddon cleared her throat, gasping out, “Who are you and what do you want?” Maybe the gasp was a bit too much, but she was, after all, playing a role.

‘’You haven’t been here long enough, to find out how bad it is.’’ But, he’d soon be showing her. He began walking away from the car expecting Lisa to follow him, but he didn’t worry about her escaping as much as he had done when he had Gen. Maybe because part of him wanted Lisa to run or find a way to escape, so that he didn’t need to do this, so that he had an excuse but that wasn’t happening so he continued ahead walking towards a spot which he thought would do fine for the next and final part of this. 

“I guess I’ll take your word for it, then,” she followed him, knowing that she was expected to do exactly that as Lucifer would be summoned soon. Since it was Abaddon, and not actually Lisa, she had a calm expression on her features, only worried that Lucifer might see through this charade and their all of their plans would be soiled.

At least Lisa was easier to deal with than Gen, so, the drive was easy. It had taken a few hours and the closer he got, the more he just wanted to drive in another direction but he didn’t he kept going back to Mystic Falls. To the place he was told to bring Lisa. ‘’Yeah, Mystic Falls. The shittest place on Earth.’’  The place that had caused him to get into this whole situation.’’ He continued to drive through the town, until he got to a location,  it was just kinda, a field in the middle of nowhere. He pulled over and got out the car, opening the passander door and expected Lisa to jump out, when she did, he’d check the boot of the car, collecting a couple things that he needed, things like candles which might seem kinda odd. ‘’As long as you don’t do anything stupid. You should be fine.’’ He thought to inform her. 

“It doesn’t look that bad to me,” ‘Lisa’ added, as she looked out the window at what was just a small, quaint quiet town overrun with supernatural creatures. Abaddon kept a careful eye on Dominic, making sure that he was following the plan and going along with what the Winchesters had said. She had heard that he was stupid and rash, but luckily things seemed to be going okay for now. She did as she told, getting out of the passenger car door. Abaddon let her tongue slip, raising an eyebrow at his words, “Thanks for the tip.”

‘‘I don’t think anything I say is really gonna help.’’ Because if he mentioned the fact that he was about to offer her up to the devil, well. That wouldn’t go down well, so, that’s why he decided to keep quiet about that fact. But in truth, nothing he said would make this sound better as much as he tried to swing it in that kinda direction. He started up the car and drove away from the house. It was going to be a long journey back and one that neither of the two in this car really wanted to take.

“Okay, then,” was all she had to offer him as she pretended to fall asleep in the backseat, before Abaddon then let her vessel actually fall asleep. However, her eyes were closed for so long that when she awoke they were already driving close to Mystic Falls. She sat up straight in the car, a confused expression plastered on her features as she looked at Dominic through the rearview mirror. “Mystic Falls?”

‘‘Okay. Whatever. But we have to get going.’‘  He said, now going to lead her towards his car that he had parked outside.  ‘’Just know that I’m sorry.’’ He was sorry for doing this, but, he was still doing it for his own selfish reasons though maybe he could swing a deal with Lucifer. Give him the other information he had on Gen and Sam rather than handing Lisa over. Even if Lucifer wanted to use Lisa, to get back at Dean, maybe the other information would be enough. That was a thought but he had also come this far to get Lisa, so, he still had to follow through with taking Lisa to him. For his own Safety, just in-case that information couldn’t be used. He still needed Lisa. 

“You saying that isn’t helping anything,” she turned towards him, acting if not knowing what worse than even knowing. She sat in the backseat, putting her seatbelt on, looking out the window and letting out a heavy exhale. A part of Abaddon thought it’d be a bit hilarious if she just killed Dominic for fun right here, pretended that she was just an innocent single mother before ripping him apart. Even though she had the urge to have some fun, she knew that this was strictly business related and she had to stick to the plan, as acting like a very human Lisa.

‘‘I’m a friend of a guy named Dean Winchester.’’ Though Dean had told him that she wouldn’t remember the name, he said it anyway. ‘’And I’m not gonna hurt you. Believe me, i didn’t want to do this.’’ From the start, he had never wanted to do this. ‘’I just have to.’’ Or he felt he had to. ‘’And really, it’s not even my fault. It’s whatever Dean did that got you involved.’’ Because maybe if Dean hadn’t pissed of the devil then Lisa wouldn’t have been the target. ‘’I told him, all about this, but he still asked me to get you, so, I guess, he doesn’t even care much and if there was a way where I could get you out of it, I would.’’ That was his guilty conscious talking, guilty enough for him to  lower the gun. ‘’Look. Just come with me and I won’t hurt you.’’ He said, stepping away from the door, waiting for her to step outside. 

“You don’t have to do anything,” she told him, before adding, with a confused expression, “Whoever this Dean is you don’t have to do that.” She was pleading with him, even though Abaddon knew that the game plan was for her as Lisa to go with him. She stared at him for a brief moment, as if trying to figure out if she was actually going to believe him. She sighed, before then nodding, grabbing a jacket and then shutting the door behind her, “Okay. But keep your word, and I’ll keep mine, okay?” she looked at the other for confirmation, eyeing the gun with feigned fear.

He didn’t actually make it through the door like he was expecting, he kinda got stuck by an invisible force, and he tried to step in again, looking like an idiot more than a threat right now. ‘’For fuck’s sake.’’ He growled out. ‘’What the fuck is this shit?’’ The whole being invited in thing wasn’t actually unknown, considering he had only gone to places where he was invited in, allowed in or they were abandoned. ‘’Did someone tell you I was coming?’’ He asked, thinking that this was just a spell. ‘’But, whatever. If I can’t come in, then you’re just gonna have to come outside.’’ He said, taking a step backwards. ‘’And you’re gonna follow me, to my car or I’m gonna shoot.’’ 

She kept on the facade, acting shocked when he couldn’t move through the door. “No, I don’t know who you are, please,” she exhaled nervously, eyes wide as she ran a hand through her dark hair, “I’ll come. Abaddon was making this up as she went--hoping she was nailing the interpretation of Midwestern suburban single mom right on the head, or at least close.

‘‘Yeah actually.’‘ He stepped forward practically forcing himself through the doorway. There was no simple or sane way to go about this, and he’d gone this far so he couldn’t stop now.  He didn’t have anyone to distract Lisa, so, he had no choice to do the classic point a gun in her face and expect her to listen. 

She put her hands up, trying her best to look fearful, big brown eyes like a deer caught in the headlights. “Okay, I’m listening,” she slowly put her hands up over her head, “There’s no reason for the gun, what do you want?” she added a tremble in for good measure. She was really trying hard not to laugh at the other--he really thought that he was being scary.

After compelling and ditching Gen all he needed now was the woman linked to the other Winchester or that’s who he thought he was getting, little did he know, he was being double-crossed with the whole Lucifer plan this whole time.  This was unknown to him still, so, he really did think he was going after Lisa when he wasn’t.  After driving around Michigan, he got to the location he had been told by Dean months ago, but, he had to compel someone to figure out the exact address of who he was looking for but when he had got the house, he arrived, and knocked on the door.

Abaddon, aka Lisa, opened the door, looking as suburban mom as she could possibly look--she had to put her best acting face on, and she didn’t really know who the hell Lisa Braeden was, but she figured that she could trick this man just fine. She had a surprised, confused expression on her face, an eyebrow raising as she asked, “Uh--can I help you?”
