Proboscis Bat Rhynchonycteris naso
It is found from southern Mexico to Belize, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia and Brazil, as well as in Trinidad. The bats are nocturnal, sleeping during the day in an unusual formation: most of them line up, one after another, on a branch or wooden beam, nose to tail, in a straight row.
In the photo, the two bats on the lower left are carrying young.

[id: a gouache painting of a wet tiger sitting in a body of water. their hair droops and they have a neutral expression on. the water is brown and blue swirls while the sky is green. end id]
[additional id: the tiger looks very round, due to it being wet. It is very cute]

i love when museums have near exact replicas of their displayed objects for you to buy. haha 15th century ceramic cup you are in my possession
Went to a museum exhibit once that had this little guy
10/10, give me tiny replicas of animal statues that I am encouraged to pat as part every exhibit ever please
@copperbadge
I really should just start actually telling museums that I want them to put out replicas of their famous chairs (there's always a wall of famous chairs in the design wing) so that I can find out what they feel like to sit on. I probably should not use the phrase "art I want to touch with my butt" as is my wont. I bet if I mentioned they could sell the replicas or even just tiny models of the replicas in the gift shop, they'd consider it. Imagine finding the most uncomfortable chair in the Wall Of Chairs and then buying a miniature one to keep on your desk at work.
